✨We are proud to announce that acb Gallery will present Zsófia Keresztes’s museum-scale installation at this year’s Art Basel fair, alongside Endre Tót’s artist questionnaires, in the globally acclaimed Unlimited sector. Keresztes’s monumental wall relief was selected by Ruba Katrib, curator at MoMA PS1, to be shown alongside works by international figures such as Yayoi Kusama, Tracey Emin, Luc Tuymans, Matthew Barney, Thomas Ruff, Goshka Macuga, and Nikita Kadan.
Zsófia Keresztes is the first Hungarian artist to participate in the Art Basel Unlimited sector, making her inclusion a historically significant milestone.

We are pleased to announce that acb Gallery will participate in Art Basel in Basel in 2026, one of the most prestigious and significant events in the international art market and contemporary art scene. Art Basel is not only a meeting point for the world’s leading galleries but also a key platform for global art discourse, where participation itself represents significant professional recognition.

At the fair, acb Gallery will present a solo exhibition of Endre Tót (1937), a defining figure of Hungarian and international conceptual art, showcasing his unique mail art questionnaires. The selection highlights historically significant works, demonstrating how Tót became a key figure in the international mail art movement of the 1970s.

🔴 acb Attachment | János Sugár: Abzug Babylon! Selection from the “Hibernated Drawings” series, 1983–1990
On view until end of May at acb Attachment, Budapest.

The exhibition is connected to Sugár’s period with the Indigo Group, particularly the Drawing Course exhibition (1982–83), and is therefore defined by its conceptual-cognitive content. The approach that emerges here regards drawing as a process that should continue “until the originally so obvious activity becomes unnameable,” as Miklós Erdély writes in his introduction to the Drawing Course exhibition (Lecture Hall of the Museum of Fine Arts, 1983). In the second group—partly as a result of Sugár’s first solo exhibition in 1984 at the Bercsényi College, organized by Talán Sebeő within the framework of the Gyorskettő festival—planning and the concept of “constructed structures,” a kind of postmodern transformation of meaning, come to the fore; some drawings were even realized as objects. In Sugár’s installations and objects, plans and sketches are equal to the realized spatial works. They ensure the coherence and traceability of conceptual content, while at the same time maintaining the openness of the work toward the viewer and sustaining their attention. This “semantic obscurity,” to use Márton Orosz’s term, is also present in the current exhibition.

🔴 On April 29, János Sugár‘s solo exhibition Abzug Babylon!
Selection from the “Hibernated Drawings” series, 1983–1990 opened at the acb Attachment exhibition space.
The exhibition remains on view through the end of May, and we warmly welcome all visitors during opening hours, Tuesday through Friday, from 2 to 6 pm!

János Sugár’s first exhibition at acb Attachment presents a selection of works from the 1980s that have not previously been shown in a comparable solo exhibition. The drawings—primarily executed in watercolor, occasionally combined with collage elements and printmaking techniques, and often bearing the marks of the wild, eclectic, and expressive visual language of the 1980s—form three distinct groups.

The latest exhibition of acb Gallery pays tribute to Károly Klimó, an artist of truly exceptional creative energy, who celebrates his 90th birthday this year. On the occasion of this remarkable jubilee, the gallery presents Klimó’s new paintings from recent years, which stand among the most refined and mature works of his oeuvre. The tireless artist’s recent works continue to draw on gesture-driven Informel painting and the principles of collage, while also bearing witness to Klimó’s transcendent sense of color. Like all of Klimó’s works, these new paintings reveal a restless artistic temperament, channeling even destructive, surface-eroding, and surface-tormenting energies into the act of creation. Even at nearly 90, the artist’s thinking and hand remain in constant motion, persistently and boldly overwriting—sometimes through explicitly script-like gestures—both himself and, in many cases, his earlier works.

🔴 Today we celebrate the 90th birthday of @klimo_karoly with photos taken at the opening of his Klimó90 exhibition at acb Gallery! On behalf of the entire acb Gallery team, we would like to wish you a very Happy Birthday!

The exhibition can be visited until the end of May during opening hours (Tuesday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM).

Károly Klimó (1936) went to high school in Kaposvár, where József Rippl-Rónai’s stepson, Dr. Róbert Martin helped him choose a career. Klimó graduated as a student of Aurél Bernáth from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1962. From 1971 on he taught at the University: until 1990 as the senior professor of the evening course, and between 1990-2005 he was head of the painting department. Since the seventies, Klimó has been actively exhibiting both in Hungary and abroad, especially in Germany and Austria, while in 1980, he participated in the Venice Biennale. In the 1970s he spent the summers at the Szentendre Art Colony. During this period, the influence of the traditional training at the Academy was replaced by experimentation with non-figurative and informel painting based on painterly gesture. The shift was also inspired by the work of the creators of the European School, several of whom Klimó maintained a personal relationship with. In the 1980s he became a regular participant in the New Sensitivity exhibitions. As a colorist, he occupies a special place in Hungarian art: he uses typical deep colors such as red, black, gold, deep blue, and various shades of yellow, while his ‘tortured’ surfaces testify to his attachment to existentialist thinking. Literature and philosophy play a particularly important role in his career. He works on canvas and paper, creates collages and montages, assemblages as well as book illustrations. The influence of Far Eastern calligraphy has been incorporated into his works since the 1990s. In the 1980s and 1990s, Károly Klimó became a frequent figure in the international art scene in both Western Europe and the United States. His work has been honored with numerous domestic and international awards, among which the prestigious Herder Award stands out (2005).

🔴(english below) @szalay_sculpt idén is részt vett a Public Art Ferencváros programban, amely a IX. kerület nyílt pályázati köztéri művészeti kezdeményezésének keretében immár harmadik alkalommal valósult meg.

🔴 We are pleased to announce that Péter Szalay will once again participate in the Public Art Ferencváros program, which is being realized for the third time as part of the IX district’s open-call public art initiative.

The artist’s installation titled The Throne will be on view at Ferenc Square in spring 2026. This special public artwork functions both as a community seating object and an interactive piece: the visual experience only becomes complete when passersby actively engage with it and use the bench. In this way, the work reflects on the relationship between power and community, while also involving the viewer as an integral part of the artwork itself.

The installation was accessible between April 22 and May 5, 2026, at Ferenc Square.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
