the clouds moved with such indifference here that I envied them. their passing was effortless, unobserved, yet entirely meaningful. i remained still beneath them (even tho i’m really close to them), weighed down by choices i never made paths i never walked, and the constant, invisible trial of being perceived.
i don’t know but perhaps the clouds are not free (they’re perhaps moving in a deterministic way) but atleast they are not expected to explain themselves.

Aside from the installation, I actually use this monitor on a daily basis. Originally, this monitor came from my broken laptop with CPU damage (essentially braindead). My mom’s cutting board was the perfect size and base for this build.
The “glitch effects” were actually unintended when I first built this. They occurred due to the fps/Hz differences. (I later learned that the monitor can only receive PAL inputs, not NTSC. It took me a good while to figure out the problem lol)
For the installation, I intentionally use the “glitch effects” along with some other minor tweaks. The GoPro is connected via HDMI and has a dummy battery in it.
