Active Cornwall
Championing sport and physical activity for a Cornwall where inequalities are no longer a barrier to an active life!

We're proudly supporting the national @active_partnerships #SportWelfareInAction campaign which launches today, celebrating the Sport Welfare Officer Network and what it offers to clubs across England. Working in partnership, Sport Welfare Officers help clubs create safe, welcoming and inclusive environments for everyone who takes part - since 2024 the network has collectively supported more than 5,000 clubs across England, including here in Cornwall.
See our Sport Welfare Officer provision on our website, just look for safeguarding and welfare.

It’s Walk to School Week - a great opportunity to get active with the family, enjoy some fresh air and make your journey to school part of the adventure. We saw some great examples of this during #BeatTheStreet so, whether walking, wheeling or scooting, we’d love to see how you’re taking part! 🌍
We’re super excited to announce the launch of ‘Walky Wheely Wednesday’ which we’re trialling initially in 5 schools in Penzance 😊 Children are being encouraged to walk, wheel or cycle to and from school every Wednesday after the half term break, for a chance to win points. We can't wait, why not practice this week and work out your route!🚶♀️🚶👨🦽➡️🚲🛴

Please remember to complete the post-game survey for #BeatTheStreet as it closes tomorrow (Sunday 17th May)!
Your feedback is just as important as taking part. We’d love to hear about your experiences - not only to help us improve future activities, spaces and facilities where you live but also support future funding opportunities to create a legacy from the game. Be in with a chance to win a £50 Argos voucher (if you’re an adult) or £50 Lego voucher (if you’re a child)!
To complete the survey, head to the app and click on your messages or follow the link in your emails.

It’s #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and this year’s theme is ‘action’. We joined @chaosgroupuk and @chaosdigitaluk for a special live broadcast in #StAustell today alongside other incredible partner organisations such as @mandowncic @cornwall_vsf @volunteercornwall
We had a great time chatting to local people about the benefits of physical activity, understanding barriers to and ideas for moving more and finding out how much they enjoyed playing #BeatTheStreet #LetsGo

We’re thrilled to welcome Mitch Holmes as our Active Community Development Officer for Penzance supporting our place work with @officialsportengland. His role is about bringing together local leaders, communities and organisations to support local people and understand how physical activity is embedded in their daily lives and the benefits it can bring.
See more about Mitch on the meet the team section on our website!

In collaboration with @active_devon we’re making Physical Activity Clinical Champion (PACC) training available to healthcare professionals for the very first time in Cornwall and our initial free online ‘lunch and learn’ session last week was an outstanding success! Almost 50 individuals attended - from GP’s, nurses, social prescribers to therapy/nursing support workers and allied health professionals – coming together to shift the focus from treatment to prevention for an NHS that’s fit for the future.
Don’t miss out - next session on Tuesday 12th May from 12-13.30 being led by Paula Manning, retired Clinical Lead, Mental Health Physiotherapist, to coincide with #MHAW

If you see our team out and about this week, removing the Beat The Street boxes and feeling a bit sad that it’s over, feel free to say hello and tell them what you enjoyed most about playing!
It’s been great seeing over 7,000 people of all ages walking, wheeling and exploring where they live, especially where individuals have been encouraging less-active friends and family to take part. Whilst the celebrations continue, please do take a moment to complete the closing survey to help us understand how to best improve spaces and facilities where you live and build a legacy from the game. If you consented to keep in touch, we’ll update you on local progress so you can see the difference it’s making and, in the meantime, take a look at our latest web blog here -https://www.activecornwall.org/beat-the-street-its-a-wrap/

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
