Painting I did some time ago titled #StateofAmerica

I recently eliminated a lot of the ornateness in the background by painting it all black and accenting the focal point to indicate there can still be a sense of #hope.

I felt by doing so it potentially will make a more powerful statement. With all the beautiful life and freedom the land has to offer there still lies the harsh realities.

Meet the artists the talented LA artists behind theRoad to World Cup Community Day presented by Amgen.

Introducing Aise Born, Angel Acordagoitia, JPmurals, and Mr B Baby who teamed up with volunteers to decorate oversized soccer ball installations and inspired by LA’s vibrant soccer culture.

These colorful works will soon appear across Los Angeles County at the 10 official Fan Zone locations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup—bringing the excitement of the global game to communities throughout the region.
