My sweet, amazing, beautiful friend, Sarah, has recently been diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, and needs help paying for expenses. BL is a type of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is a very rare, extremely aggressive and fast growing cancer that typically affects children. It is 3-4 times more likely to affect males than females and accounts for only 1% to 2% of adult lymphomas. (With these chances, Sarah might have a shot at the lottery, to be honest.)

Sarah has started her chemotherapy today, and it’s only the first step in a long journey. Her chemotherapy will consist of both outpatient and inpatient sessions with hospital stays between 2-8 days. 

Unfortunately, Sarah does not have access to any kind of short-term disability, and her medical insurance has a high out-of-pocket deductible (something something health care system something something Murica)

She has been written out of work by her doctor for 5-6 months, and because she does not have access to short-term disability, once her PTO runs out, she will have no income coming in. (something something capitalism)

Meet the cast of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE!

Alan Skirnick portrays Franz (the painter's subject and husband to Frieda) and Dennis (the artist's technician). He is ready for his own adventure in the park but is later eager to leave the artist to return to other scientific endeavors. QC Concerts is excited to welcome Alan to the QCC stage for the first time!

Sierra Key portrays Frieda (the painter's subject and wife to Franz) and Betty (the artist's colleague). She is ready for a rendezvous in the park but is also excited to support her fellow artist with his 7th Chromolume. Sierra previously appeared in QC Concerts' productions of tick, tick,...BOOM! and Head Over Heels.
