Volume is not the strategy most designers think it is. Editors are not looking for more projects. They are looking for the right ones. A tighter, more intentional body of work often opens more doors than a long list of submissions, because it signals a clear point of view. Selectivity is part of the craft.

Both designer and client were six months pregnant when this project began. A deadline like that has a way of sharpening the vision.
In @1stdibs Introspective, @dafandco tells the story of a 1920s Spanish Colonial in Dallas's Highland Park, purchased by a longtime friend and former business-school classmate. The bones were good. The kitchen needed work. The rest was a conversation between two women who trust each other and happen to share a serious love of pattern.
What Dafna created is a home that feels personal rather than precious. Heirlooms from the wife's family sit alongside mid-century finds and regional Texas art. The architecture is honored, the patterns are layered with a light hand, and the whole house has a lived-in ease that feels rare in this part of Dallas.
The kind of project that only happens when the trust is already there.

Two clients, one issue, and a cover story that feels like a true moment.
The March / April issue of @luxemagazine is on stands, and we could not be more proud to share that @adadarchitecture graces the cover. Her project is a 1910 Seattle home reimagined for the way its owners actually want to live.
The house sits in Madrona on a sloped lot with views toward Lake Washington and, on the clearest days, Mount Rainier. Its Tudor and Federal bones were preserved, then softened with arched openings in limestone, a new rhythm through the doorways, and a sweeping curved stair.
The interiors, layered with bold prints and rose-toned warmth, quietly push past the all-white Pacific Northwest instinct into something more personal.
Inside the same issue, @keelerandco brings a very different kind of light. Her Hobe Sound project, a new-construction home for a Chicago-area couple, leans all the way into its Florida surroundings.
A striking blue terrazzo floor carries through the main living spaces, a pearlescent zellige backsplash softens the kitchen, and a custom turquoise outdoor kitchen meets a pool the same shade of sun-warmed water. Casual, joyful, and a little unexpected.
Two talented clients. One beautiful issue. A full-circle start to spring!

Fairytale bones, modern family life, and a kitchen that answers the door in bright green.
@admexico features a storied San Francisco Rousseau home reimagined by @_atelierma_ , the architecture firm led by Michael and Daphnee Metiu. These are the sloping-roofed, Tudor-meets-Spanish-Colonial houses that give whole blocks of the city their storybook quality, and this young family of five wanted theirs to work for modern life without losing an ounce of its magic.
That balance is what makes the project sing. Michael and Daphnee resized and echoed the original Tudor arches throughout the house, replaced a small central atrium with a sculptural staircase, and added a retractable skylight that opens to the rooftop deck. The interiors, designed in collaboration with @noznozawa, lean all the way into color, with moss greens and pops of red, a checkerboard terrazzo kitchen floor, and a custom tile installation by artist Linda Fahey.
The result is a home with room for three young children, a little magic, and a whole lot of joy.

My dad, Jerry - fully geared up, dialed in, and still somehow completely in the moment. Elbow pads, knee pads, gloves…because safety always came first. A doctor through and through.
I think I love this photo so much because it captures something rare…him truly carefree. Relaxed. Not fixing, not solving, not managing…just enjoying the ride.
That wasn’t his default. He was level-headed, wildly organized (the apple didn’t fall far from the tree, and I secretly love that), and a fixer until the very end. No problem left untouched, no stone left unturned. A control freak, but in the way that made everyone around him feel safe and cared for. He just knew how things should be done…including marrying his perfect opposite. What they built together over 50+ years was the real deal…yin and yang, better together than apart.
He built a life rooted in discipline and purpose…from Burlington, Vermont to the Air Force to leading Radiology at California Pacific Medical Center. But titles aside, he was the most informed, curious, and quietly brilliant person I’ve ever known. Newspaper front to back, iPad in hand, always learning, always evolving. A wealth of knowledge. Humble. A steady presence you could always count on.
He never missed a Warriors, 49ers, or Giants game, and apparently never let being the smallest guy on his highschool basketball team stop him either. That tracks.
In true form, he even gave us time to prepare for this goodbye. And while nothing really prepares you, I’m so grateful for that time…such a gift.
Something shifts when they’re gone. The waiting ends, the uncertainty clears, and you’re left to find your footing without them. It’s uncomfortable. But we carry forward. We rise to meet the standard he set. We take that love, the kind that was always there, steady and strong, and we pass it on.
He loved us to our bones. And now it’s on us to live a life that would make him proud.
Miss you, Dad 🤍

Not every beautiful project is positioned for prestige press. Editors are evaluating the full scope of a home, from architectural presence to narrative cohesion and point of view. Understanding this early helps designers approach PR with clearer expectations and stronger strategy.

A home shaped by place and personal history.
Designed by @heidilachapelleinteriors, this Long Lake retreat appears in the January / February 2026 interior design issue of @mainehomedesign. Created as a year-round gathering space, the home reflects a family’s deep roots in Maine and their memories of summers spent on the water.
The project draws from camp days, lake life, and time together, translated into spaces that feel grounded and easy to live in. The architecture opens toward the lake, while the interiors emphasize warmth and a sense of calm that settles in quickly.
From the great room that anchors daily life to quieter spaces meant for reading and slowing down, each room supports how the family actually uses the home when everyone is together.
A thoughtful reminder that the most lasting homes are shaped by connection, not trend.

From the great room that anchors daily life to quieter spaces meant for reading and slowing down, each room supports how the family actually uses the home when everyone is together.
A thoughtful reminder that the most lasting homes are shaped by connection, not trend.

What started as a two-week visit turned into a permanent stay.
Appearing on @betterhomesandgardens, this backyard ADU by @swoon_inside was designed to bring multiple generations together on a single Alameda lot. Jen McAnaney proved that 800 square feet is more than enough room for a life full of character, creating a compact sanctuary for a retired couple to be near their grandchildren.
The feature explores how smart, flexible design makes small scale living feel effortless. From a home office that can easily pivot back into a guest closet to a primary bed with hidden storage, every inch was utilized with intention. Jen used a mix of zellige tile and a striking blue tree wallpaper to invite movement through the home, ensuring the space feels as vibrant and soulful as the family that inhabits it.

What happens when a 1990s farmhouse meets a distinctly European soul?
For this Puget Sound project, @theresidencybureau traded dated linoleum and glass blocks for a "Neo-Rustic" sensibility that feels gathered over time. Recently spotlighted in @elledecor_es, the home beautifully layers memory and place... from the terracotta-lined library to a blue-toned kitchen built for the ritual of baking.
It’s an honor to see Amy Vroom’s work crossing borders and reaching an international audience. This feature perfectly captures her ability to honor a home's past while creating something that feels deeply present and unapologetically original.

The most meaningful homes are built from the soul up... And this one earned its spot on the cover of @luxemagazine!
Designed by @sheilakramerinteriors, this project proves that sophisticated design and a busy household are a perfect match. Sheila reimagined this estate by softening the original architecture with rounded edges and a cohesive color story pulled from the home’s striking marble surfaces.
From the oversized kitchen pendants that keep the energy playful to the commissioned art that tells the family's story, every detail was chosen to celebrate real life. This feature perfectly captures the dramatic shift from a dated interior to a vibrant, soulful retreat.

Global treasures meet 1930s Dallas architecture.
Appearing on @homesandgardensofficial, this Mediterranean Revival by @dafandco is a masterclass in architectural intuition. Rather than imposing a modern look, Dafna Kikuchi let the historic bones lead, responding to the original proportions with a light and intentional hand. The result is a residence that honors its heritage while feeling completely fresh for a young family.
The feature highlights Dafna’s layered approach, blending vintage finds from the UK, Italy, and the US with custom elements and surfaces that carry a natural patina. Each room balances a rich palette with lived-in comfort, proving that the most compelling interiors happen when a designer listens to the house first.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
