And just like that, I ran out of gravel races for the season! But I think I’ve caught a little 🐞 and so excited to continue exploring. 🤩 I never thought I would feel this good again. 🥲I tear up with happiness and gratitude when I realize I thought about my knee 0 times during this weekend’s 200 mile stage race, @rebeccasprivateidaho

Ventured North with @danimalc this week up at the @sorcererlodge. Cold temps, but we managed to stay cozy thanks to our guides finding us plenty of soft turns in the high alpine sunshine. 🌞🏔️☺️

Robo knee kicked in her first booter. Great success.

It’s been pretty frustrating these last few years dealing with the declining function of my knee.My heart and every other part of me wanted to play so much harder and longer, but simply riding my bike went from painful to unsafe to recently impossible.

The decision to replace the knee this October was wrought with fear and uncertainty.

But, I would put today in the WIN column.I think I have a few years now to look forward to in the win column. 🥳 I’m not done getting stronger, but getting back on a real summit today is finally a step closer to feeling aligned again.Less angry at my leg. More at peace. More excited to play. Eager for new challenges. Relieved.

I have the deepest gratitude for my friends who were so patient and supportive through all the malarchy. 💛💛💛.
