🇬🇧 This is one of those projects where everything comes together.
The layers of materials, the precision of every detail, and the soul of the architecture itself…
Located in the heart of Baku Icherisheher, the approach required a certain level of care — every decision had to respect what already exists.
The aim is to introduce contemporary design into a historical setting without losing its identity.
A balance between past and present — done with intention.

Looking at the artworks in the exhibition, you begin to realize how deeply the human body is connected to nature itself. Like nature, our bodies are living archives — they absorb, record, and carry its imprints across time. This is what true balance means: a continual exchange in which nature works through the human body, and the human body, in turn, works for nature.

I believe that we are not meant to live by the “Shepherd Theory” where we blindly and mindlessly move with the “Flow” controlled by someone or something. Sometimes, looking at my path, I realize that the current doesn’t carry me along. There was a time when this confused me and made me think that I was doing something wrong.
It is a blessing to know your goals and follow them with full honesty. It is amazing to support people who deserve it, who are not part of the “Flow”. I am surrounded by these people 🤍
@stockinstockout showed me clearly this year that not everyone is ready for, or understands, what it really means to create and to be a “Designer” . When you know what you are doing, you can always find the right path and grow.
There are many “Shepherds” in the “Fashion scene in Baku” who have only one thing on their minds: “Money, here and now.” They don’t feel it, and they don’t see anything beyond that. For money, people are ready to lie, cheat, and embarrass themselves, while still believing they are right.
Watching this “Flow” I understand how important it is to have a filter. This is not ego or arrogance. I believe that supporting people who are not meant for this field, or who work only with the idea of “YES, for money,” is not support — it is deception.
Don’t deceive yourself, and even more importantly, don’t deceive others. Turn on your filter and be part of real growth 🤍
