Welcome Joe Wesley.
Joe began guiding at just 13 years old.Trained in the traditional ways of master Native guides who knew shorelines, safe passage, and fishing techniques through lived experience-not electronics or maps.His foundation was built on raw skill, discipline, and deep respect for the water ways.

Over the years, Joe has taught at institutions across the provinces, sharing the Anishinaabe view while learning alongside Elders throughout the territory.Through these teachings, Joe credits his growth as a master angler to his cultural practices and his connection to the natural world.

Known for his good heart, compassion and firm, disciplined mindset, Joe has embraced many meaningful opportunities-including years of appearing on national television, work with the Ontario Collage of Teachers in Toronto, and presentations at collages and university's across the provinces.

Now returning to his true passion, Joe takes on the role of Guide Manager, dedicated to sharing his depth of knowledge, honoring traditional methods in addition to using today's technological advancements, he is leading our team of seasoned professionals, with a skill set focused on sharing angling techniques and migratory fish patterns for the species that our Lodge is known to target.

With Joe's leadership, Anderson's Lodge continues to be committed to providing an exceptional fishing vacation-and putting you on your target fish.
