what if there are natural patterns and rythms in the universe
and design is simply our ability to harmonize with these or notā¦..
the beat of our heart, the flow of the river, they are steady but chaotic
i look at my spinning palette and see that the most random of lines appear to have a pattern once it moves
I think about my brain and how it been trained to identify patterns, the patterns it sees existed when I didnāt see them, but yet somehow in humanity my ability to point them out seems like a super power because these patterns are supposed to be underlying
beats, skwiggles, thumps that hold us in the song of life. the funny thing about design is that itās not necessary. these patterns and rhythms that play naturally in the universe are far stronger and louder than anything we could create in our life time. they are fueled by all living things, nothing a mere human could dare to challenge. However life isnāt about challenge, one look at men and you can tell that those who are in it to win arenāt in it for long. How can we help. How can we leverage. How can we use a tiny voice to harmonize with a strong higher power. That really is the challenge of design. Coexisting. Harmonizing.
