We are thrilled to announce the visionary leading the charge for the inaugural Jazz Peccioli: The New Orleans Experience, our Artistic Director, Adonis Rose!

A Grammy Award-winning master drummer, producer, and the Managing and Artistic Director of the renowned New Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO), Adonis Rose is the ultimate bridge between the birthplace of jazz and the heart of Tuscany. Under his direction, this July will transform Peccioli into an international crossroads of soulful rhythm, brass bands, and contemporary artistic synergy.

The countdown begins. The soul of NOLA is coming to the Amphitheater Fonte Mazzola. 🎭✨

After being stranded in Los Angeles as a result of the blizzard back home in NY I trusted the moment .
I was invited by my mother’s cousin to goto a jazz club his good friend played in .
called @lavenderbluela .
The Musician was JACQUES LESURE and boy did they swing !! Old school . Fried wings and fish and all . Packed house . Mostly old timers 🫂
I walked in and wasgreeted byfrom the bandstand .
This may have been the first I’d been to Engelwood ..in decades .
I hadn’t taken off my trench yet and was summoned to the stage .
I still believe me cousin set me up 🥹
And now the moment is forever sealed .
Those who know me …know I will show up for you ⚫️
I’m certainly not one to consider myself a jazz singer .
However I do chase magic …..( I suppose that’s the spirit)
Roy Hargrove invited me into this world and showed me a few tunes ,
I simply exist in many jazz spaces .
Much of my musical family lives there and I love them .
