Arkitema
As architects we co-create Scandinavian cities with focus on everyday life of current and future generations.

Arkitema’s Copenhagen office, Dipylon Hus, sits in the historic heart of @carlsbergbyen.
A former malt silo from 1939, transformed with care for its industrial character and architectural identity.
The building now houses a flexible workplace for 150 colleagues, with open floors, shared spaces and a central atrium bringing daylight deep inside.
From preserved brick facades to new glass and filigree masonry, the transformation balances history and contemporary use.

In Charlottenlund,Denmark, the former Vilvorde Kursuscenter has been transformed into a new residential neighbourhood shaped by landscape, history and everyday life.
Existing training buildings, originally designed by Finn Monies and Gunnar Jensen, from the 1960s have been carefully renovated and paired with new residential volumes inspired by the site’s original architecture. Here, mature trees, including the site’s iconic ginkgo, have been preserved to keep the strong connection between buildings and landscape alive.
Inside, daylight and natural materials shape the homes. Outside, shared spaces including an orangery, playground and small lake bring nature into everyday life.
The transformation have been carried out in close collaboration with FB Gruppen A/S and @gentofte_kommune.

Heritage buildings ready for another round
@homeofcarlsberg transforms the original @carlsbergbrewery buildings in Valby into a contemporary visitor centre, rooted in history and designed for people.
Ten listed industrial buildings from the 1840s have been carefully restored and adapted to new uses. New functions are integrated with respect for the existing architecture, letting materials, details and spaces speak for themselves.
The project shows how transformation can give historic buildings new meaning and a future role in city life.

Through careful transformation, the existing user facilities at @detkglbibliotek in Aarhus were reshaped to support reading, learning and everyday life.
Now, new spatial connections, daylight and an indoor garden create calmer study environments and stronger flow across the building.
A library shaped around people, knowledge and community.

Decades of history now shape the everyday life of students at Remus in Frescati Hage.
Here we have completed the careful transformation of the former Forestry Institute, Skogshögskolan, into new student housing for @akademiskahus.
Listed facades, limestone staircases and original ironwork remain, while new spatial solutions and technical upgrades bring the building into the present.
Reused materials, preserved structures, and a design concept rooted in the building’s heritage define the project.
Today, students live and meet where researchers once worked, giving for example the historic conference room a new role as a social hub.

Our miniature model of Hornslet Cultural Centre lets us test volumes, light and spatial sequences with our hands, not just on screen.
Scale, tactility and material contrasts become immediately readable, revealing how the existing structure can open up and connect in new ways.
Built in-house by Francisco Pires as both craft and design tool, the model invites dialogue between architects, engineers and local stakeholders.
In a time defined by digital workflows, model making still anchors the project in the reality of a future place for real people.

Munkemose Park in Odense has been transformed from a historic learning environment to a place for today's living.
Originally built between 1895 and 1939, the former schools have been carefully transformed, and we’ve preserved key elements such as the granite columns, the original staircases and the characteristic materiality that has shaped the site for more than a century.
A new wing ties the whole composition together, while the former gymnastics hall now serves as a shared space for community life.

Once known for its closed and introverted expression, Palle Suenson’s 1962 building, dubbedØrkenfortet (the Desert Fort) by Copenhageners, has been carefully transformed into a warm and welcoming hotel on Copenhagen’s waterfront.
We worked with the listed structure’s robust geometry, opening it towards the city with new entrances, improved flow and a more transparent ground floor. Original qualities are preserved, while new layers support life, movement and hospitality.

We worked with the listed structure’s robust geometry, opening it towards the city with new entrances, improved flow and a more transparent ground floor. Original qualities are preserved, while new layers support life, movement and hospitality.

In the Danish city of Aabenraa, two former pharmaceutical warehouses have been reimagined as spaces for movement, creativity and everyday learning, now forming the new school Kongehøjskolen.
What first appeared to be outdated industrial halls revealed generous spatial heights and large, flexible rooms rarely achievable in a new public school.
By transforming rather than rebuilding, the project created far more value within the same budget and opened possibilities that were otherwise out of reach.

A century-old soap factory in Copenhagen refreshed for the 21st century.
15 years ago, we transformed the listed Henkel building with a light‑touch approach: preserving its raw industrial character while opening the structure to daylight, exposing its unique factory elements, and adding a new skylight that brings the building to life.
Historic brick, visible rafters, hoists, silos and ramps remain as part of the architectural narrative, while sedum roofs and energy upgrades ensure the building meets modern demands.
A clean, contemporary workspace—rooted in its industrial past.

Architecture you feel from the inside.
Daylight, long views and clear wayfinding shape the interior of Sjukehuset Nordmøre og Romsdal – creating calm, intuitive spaces in one of the most complex building types there is.
Patient rooms, staff areas and shared spaces are all designed around the individual, with nature, light and clarity supporting everyday care and wellbeing.
Hospitals aren’t just about technology and logistics. They’re about people.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
