Over the last year and a half, I've been carving linocut portraits to highlight fundraisers of displaced families in G4z4. Over that time, I saved all of my misprints and test prints so that I could eventually create this large collage, titled "We Live On."

My Begonia Swirl Shawl! When I say this was the most complex and painstaking thing I've ever knitted by several orders of magnitude... And I was doing it on a time limit. I cast off two days before giving it to my grandmother. This is also the first lace I've ever knit, and it was honestly like knitting a spiderweb 🕸️
Do I have eyes, hands, or a brain left? No. Did I think the patten would turn out? No. Am I happy with the results? YES!! It seems a actually magical that I made this with my own two hands.

The Illness has caught up with me, so with nothing else to do I decided to try my first color work piece! I knit this hat in one day lol. It was a serious learning process... My first pair of socks in many years! The color way is the absolutely stunning Rhinebeck Rainbow by @whitebirchfiberarts. The camera really struggled to capture the true colors, though: this is a gorgeous muted rainbow closer to jewel tones. I learned to knit socks two at a time for these, and I will never be going back.

I've been wanting to sew a needle book for a while, and I finally got around to it! My needles have been stuck through the same piece of paper they came in since I was in middle school. Now they have a lovely new home! I used a super easy tutorial from Instrucables, it only took about an hour - everyone should make their own I think, it's like a little needle diary!!

It's incredible how the light changes the color of this shawl. After months of knitting, unpicking, pausing, and resuming, I finally finished my BLT Shawl by Cheri McEwen. It was an extremely unforgiving pattern, but you can't deny the results - that gorgeous diamond pattern.
