For us, a table is a stage for stories, memories, and moments that stay.
LOKUM exists because we want to share these moments — moments filled with warmth, colour, music, and hayat.

To all artists, collaborators, partners, and team members — teşekkürler for your talent, your kindness, and your spirit.
You didn’t just support LOKUM — you shaped it, you coloured it, you filled it with life.

Every plate, every melody, every photograph, every conversation, every smile became part of the world we dreamed of.
To those in the kitchen and on the floor, behind the music and behind the scenes, in production, design, communication, and operations — we see you, we appreciate you, we are grateful.

On 06.12, we invite you to join us as we say goodbye to the 2025 season.
Let’s celebrate — with a DJ set from DUNYA — and close this chapter the way we have lived it from the beginning: together.

And then comes 2026.
We will move forward — because of you — with new ideas, new experiences, and the same soul you helped us create.
What comes next will be different, but its heart will always be LOKUM.

Autumn evenings at LOKUM
The light fades earlier, the air feels cooler, and it’s the perfect moment to gather, eat, and celebrate together.

We’re open Wednesday to Saturday from 5 pm, serving food and drinks made to share.

Wednesdays are our long evenings — with Manti Mittwoch, handmade Turkish ravioli with butter and yoghurt, and time to linger and listen to our Turkish music or book LOKUM for your friends and your festive occasion.

On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the kitchen takes last orders at 9:00 pm. Last night for 2025 is the 6th of December 🧿

Meyhane ist ein traditioneller Treffpunkt in der türkischen Kultur – irgendwo zwischen Weinbar und Wohnzimmer, Hauptsache, zusammen sein.

Think tasty plates with simit, hummus, grilled veggies, spinach balls and more, plus Turkish favorites like sucuk toast, manti, börek and köfte 🍴✨and of course, an amazing baklava with peanut butter & date ice cream or a sweet selection of Turkish delights to finish up🤤

All best enjoyed with their cocktails, homemade ayran, limonata or strong Turkish coffee - in Stereo’s cozy-meets-cool bar atmosphere 🌙

Lokums Meyhane in der Stereo-Bar: türkische Mezze-Bar
Im «Stereo», der Bar an der Brauerstrasse mit Fokus auf Musik und Cocktails, hat das Pop-up «Lokum» erneut Platz gefunden – diesmal unter dem Titel «Meyhane – Apero à la Turka». Meyhane ist ein traditioneller Treffpunkt in der türkischen Kultur – irgendwo zwischen Weinbar und Wohnzimmer, Hauptsache, zusammen sein.
Auf den Tisch kommen täglich wechselnde Mezze-Teller – vier kleine Gerichte mit Simit für 29 Franken – sowie Klassiker wie Cacik, Sucuk-Toast, Manti oder grillierte Köfte. Auch Fisch und Vegetarisches ist dabei: etwa der Salat «Summer Crush» mit Wassermelone und Feta oder Börek mit Kartoffeln und Joghurt. Zum Dessert gibt es Baklava mit Dattelglace oder eine Auswahl an türkischen Süssigkeiten. Serviert wird à la carte.
Zum Essen wird Raki getrunken, diskutiert und vielleicht gesungen – so stellt sich Cansu Cantas «Meyhane – Apero à la Turka» vor.

Hinter dem Konzept steht die in Ankara und Zürich tätige Cansu Cantas mit einem Team aus Köchinnen und Köchen mit türkischen Wurzeln.

Wer Ferienverlängerung sucht, findet sie hier auf dem Teller, im Glas – und im Soundtrack von wechselnden DJs, gespielt auf dem Klipsch-Soundsystem der Bar. Ab 22 Uhr übernimmt das «Stereo».
Lokum in der Stereo-Bar, Brauerstrasse 36, 8004 Zürich. Bis Ende September, Mittwoch bis Samstag 16.00 bis 22.00 Uhr.
