While the end of chemo is the end of this phase of treatment, I’ll continue on with a maintenance plan to delay/prevent my cancer returning. While it seems daunting to deal with this for the rest of my life, it’ll keep me in check with my gratitude and strong will. I’ll relish in every day being unique and every tomorrow being an opportunity.

The last 6 months have been the most challenging, rewarding, life-altering, life-affirming, spiritual, self-reflective, powerful 6 months of my life. No one ever thinks they’ll get cancer and no one knows how they’d handle it if they did. I’m so proud of myself for proving to myself how strong and resilient I am and I’m so grateful for every person who’s shown up for me in ways big and small.
