I built this workflow to design lighting animations and fixture layouts for the 100m² membrane before it physically existed.
This enabled great collaboration and left plenty of room for us to play with on-site instead of just pixel mapping.
Excited to continue building on this in future lighting and interactive installations.

6 months of collaboration across Tokyo 🗼, NYC 🗽, and Venice 🏛️. We built a shared digital model in Rhino, Unreal Engine, and TouchDesigner to design, preview, and run the final show.

When the debug visuals become the main concept: I've been working on a smooth curve rendered in #touchdesigner, and ended up liking the primordial soup aesthetic so much that I made a little ambient track for it.
The end goal was to create bendable tubes using Seret Frennet or Parallel Transport frames. This version uses Parallel Transports.
