Boom. On my way to study with Nabil, we took a diversion for a field trip with Patrice. So worth it. So beautiful.

The past week has been a series of emotional crashes and joys.

1. My student Cameron got his Commercial Certificate. It was a long time coming and he showed his examiner things that she’d never seen in a checkride. Maybe I had something to do with it, but honestly, it was entirely his personality that made some amazing things happen. Everyone at @slingpilotacademy Long Beach was excited to support him.

2. Meanwhile, @conley_good also nailed his Instrument checkride in record time challenging me to keep up with his intense level of study and focus.

3.-4. Samesies just different angles.

5.@tatsfedez and Moose are such a joy. I still can’t believe I get to come home every night to these two. I still haven’t paid all my cosmic debt for any Misdeeds I’ve done in my life so I appreciate what gold I’ve been given while I have it.

6. Thes clouds I saw the other day represent the sleepless haze I’ve been in while I’ve been on a roller coaster that never seems to end.

7. LA on fire at sunset from Palos verdes.

8. A moment of reflection in Pismo.

9. Moose and Tati again because I can.

10. My family bought us one of those solo stoves and it suddenly feels like we’re camping at home.

11. 12. Moose and my boo

13. My buddy and instructor, @jeremiahknopf and his wife @jen.knopf just revealed their baby’s gender and it’s pink!

14. I’m researching columbarium’s to bury my parents at their request. Ive been surprised by the emotional weight of what that means for me as a child and as a person who will also eventually die. I’m left with those existential questions that aren’t said, but are always packed in the back of our minds for the days when we can’t look away anymore.

15. Ok, now here’s the real post: did you know that each @lego block has a part number embossed on it that’s so small, it’s hard to see it. They’ve done this for decades and I’ve never known this or seen it. It drives me crazy how cool and hidden it is.

Somewhere between Thanksgiving and my birthday, I realized that my cup runneth over (sounds pretty psalmy) between the time I got to spend with family and with work friends. I do feel lucky to have access to so many positive, thoughtful people in my life. I usually hide out a little on my birthday. Thanks for finding me, friends.
Also, I managed to randomly get 3 carrot cakes for my birthday this year. No coordination, just everyone thinking the same thing.

This past few months has been so fulfilling. From adopting a pooch to watching my students power through their certificates, I can feel the love and the greatness.

Congrats to Jason, Gus, Cameron and Isaac!
And I’m happy to introduce Moose.

Somehow, I’ve made it to Alaska and 1000 hours at the same time. As I was debriefing a student preparing to CFI with a Sling, I looked at my logbook and realized I crossed the thousand hours as we shut the engine off. What a magical way to cross this threshold.

I can’t tell which was cooler—Mojave Air and Space Port or Kern Valley. Yesterday’s trip was such a peaceful day out in the wild. And yet, I spent the morning at Catalina, Torrance and Long Beach. This was a day where I felt lucky to have amazing friends and students that wanted to go to these places. Eyes wide open.

As I’m about to cross 800 hours of flight time, @slingpilotacademy has opened up their new facilities in Long Beach and santa monica. I’d say, if you don’t already know the definition of ‘Liminal’, I’d look it up. It describes how I feel.
A new space to work, wildfires, new White House, feeling my age, new job opportunities; it’s all adding up to a transition that’s coloring my self view.
My brother is always talking about how to help my nephews deal with transitions (they’re under ten years old). I’ve always prided myself on being adaptive, but transitions always have an element of discomfort.
I’m still going to work six days a week and enjoy being up in the sky all the time and doing my best to inspire everyone I’m around to be as curious as possible.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
