Our team got bigger‼️ Accomplished journalist and veteran reporter Mary Sell joined us this month as senior business editor.

Mary has extensive newsroom experience covering Alabama’s policies and politics, translating how processes in Montgomery affect everyday Alabamians. She most recently worked as a reporter and editor at Alabama Daily News. She’ll bring her talent and experience to help Big Com’s clients tell the story of Alabama’s thriving commerce and workforce development.

👉 “Big Com is thrilled to add Mary to the team, a veteran reporter who’s written extensively about the policies and politics behind the state’s economic growth.” @bigjohnmontgomery

Last October, our ECD Shannon Harris got a sourdough starter from her sister-in-law.

She hasn’t fed it once.

Turns out owning a starter doesn’t make you a sourdough specialist. 👀

Which gets at the idea behind the Specialists Need Specialists, Too campaign for The American College of Financial Services, where an obsession with niche skills became a metaphor for financial professionals who earn specialized designations.

The work features sourdough bakers, beekeepers… and some very real bees on set.

Shannon will be talking about the campaign LIVE on @indieagencynews LinkedIn Live — Indie Work Showcase: A 100-Year-Old Brand’s First Campaign, joined by Jared Trexler, SVP and Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at @theamercol.

A Very 90s Bigmas 🎄📺

We just can’t hide our gratitude this year. For one another, for the problems we solve, for the wins we celebrate together. We’ve had 30 years of Big times. So this season, we’re throwing it back to 1995 with some classic holiday fun. It may be cringe. It might even be too much. But that’s the only way we know how to do it. Check the link our bio for a very 90s Big-mas.

We’ve got a talented team, and we love to make a big damn deal of them at our annual holiday party. 🏆

Every year, the staff votes for our Biggies award winners. Biggies are peer nominated and are closely tied to our personality and core values as an agency.

Meet this year’s Biggie winners…
⚡ The Rocketeer: Heather Garner
⚡ The Detail Devil: Kristin Dober
⚡ The Match-Maker: Katie Kelly
⚡ The Imagineer: Dan Gavin
⚡ The Biggest: Janey Diuguid

And from this year’s peer-nominated Employees of the Month, Big’s leadership team selected an Employee of the Year for their commitment to bettering their craft and collaboration with the team. Our 2025 Employee of the Year... Shaydah Schaff!

Join us in sending #BigComLuv to our 2025 Biggie winners! 🍔❤️

Last week, we got to celebrate the accomplishments of two of our team members at @aafbham's annual Ten Awards. 🏆

Shaydah took home the Media Planner of the Year + Kiara won Student of the Year, and if you've worked with either of 'em, that's no surprise. These two are perfect examples of what makes Big Com so special: they're excellent at their craft, and they're team players who are always willing to roll up their sleeves and dive in. Join us in sending a BIG congrats to our two winners in the comments! 👏

How do you introduce consumers to financial advisors who are deeply dedicated to their clients’ specific needs? You remind them what dedication looks like. That sourdough starter they’ve been perfecting for years? 🥖👀 That’s the same sort of obsessive commitment a financial advisor credentialed by The American College of Financial Services brings to their retirement, tax strategy and wealth management.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
