Start with Art as a methodology for CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY:
At Black Math, art is how we navigate new technologies rather than being defined by them.
New tools arrive constantly: generative AI, realtime engines, spatial platforms, cutting-edge hardware and software. Each opens new creative possibilities, but technology alone doesn’t produce originality.
We explore new technologies through projects with our clients, where clear creative goals naturally define the boundaries of the work. That often means developing blue-sky visions alongside working prototypes, extending what the technology can do while staying grounded in its real constraints. We start our visual and verbal exploration at the same time as research and strategy. This is an intentional shift from the segmented process that many studios follow.
