Scottish running meets sporting legends this summer at the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation 5K and 10K, in Edinburgh on 7th June. This event offers a chance for those who were a part of Edinburgh Marathon to stretch their legs and chase a new personal best while raising vital funds for the @myname5doddie Foundation.

Organised by Blast Running, the event invites runners of all levels to lace up and join a host of familiar faces from the world of Scottish rugby (including former Scotland international Scott Hastings) for a memorable day of community, fundraising and flat-out fun. Organisers say: “Whether you’re recovering from a spring marathon or setting yourself a summer goal, the event promises an uplifting and supportive atmosphere for all.”

There’s also an opportunity for young runners to get involved in the kids’ 1K race. Funds raised from the children’s event will go towards Cramond Primary school’s playground refurbishment.

All finishers, both adults and juniors, will be rewarded with a medal at the line, making it a great day out for both seasoned runners and first-timers alike.

With fundraising, fitness and a fun vibe at its heart, this is an event that celebrates local spirit and helps to support a brilliant cause.

Funds raised from the children’s event will go towards Cramond Primary School’s sports equipment fund.

All finishers, both adults and juniors, will be rewarded with a medal at the line, making it a great day out for both seasoned runners and first-timers alike.

With fundraising, fitness and a fun vibe at its heart, this is an event that celebrates local spirit and helps to support a brilliant cause.

We had 111 runners on the start line for the Original Cherry Blossom 5K @ The Meadows today and some sporting pink t-shirts and shorts. A wee test for you all was the rain, hail and wind that appeared suddenly and then disappeared just as quickly! Lots of happy runners crossing the finish-line and off to get a drink and a piece of 'pink' marshmallow cake.

We’re very grateful, as always to our marshals who supported you at every turn.Their knowledge and expertise gets you all round a busy Meadows and back to the finish-line. Thank you:Issy, Richard, Alan, Kuan, Charlie, Brian and John.

Thank you for supporting our chosen charity today which was @simpsons_special_care_babies We have raised £150 from your entry donations.A special moment at prize-giving to realise one of our runners, Fraser Christie is a Consultant in the neonatal unit and the 1st Senior Man Rory was cared for there as a baby. There was also another runner with a photo of her baby boy who was born 9 weeks early and cared for in the unit too. Now a strapping 'young' man!

The full results are now up on the Blast Running website.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
