Boris “Fangsanalsatan Vol.25 in Gifu”

In 2024, Boris’s long-standing event series, “Fangs Anal Satan,” was revived after 26 years.
Originally held exclusively in Tokyo, the event made its debut in Gifu—Atsuo’s hometown—in August 2025.
This recording captures Boris in its current four-piece lineup, featuring updated arrangements of past classics and tracks released as live versions for the first time. It serves as a definitive document of where Boris stands today as they move toward the next step.

“Rainbow 2”

The first album Rainbow (2006) has a limited-edition Rainbow Special Box that exists separately from the standard CD and LP releases. Encased in a custom-made translucent box, this edition featured the Rainbow album on clear vinyl, a DVD, a lavishly bound 60-page color photobook, and a bonus 2-track clear vinyl LP exclusive to this set.
The labels on this 2-track disc are marked as Side 3 and 4, with track numbers 10 and 11, indicating that it is not merely a bonus addition but a definitive “Disc 2” that continues the Rainbow narrative. Naturally, the heavy ambient and guitar drone soundscapes on this disc link directly to the imagery within the photobook. For a long time, the fact that this bonus LP holds hidden significance in completing the Rainbow experience has been known only to a handful of listeners who own the Special Box.
The current release, Rainbow 2, serves as a “second rainbow bridge” connecting Rainbow and the subsequent Cloud Chamber (2008). We hope you enjoy it as a part of the grand flow to deeper understand the world of Boris with Michio Kurihara.

【Boris “Pink” played on Sunn beta bass】

I am honored to announce that I have officially become an endorser for Sunn Amps.
As someone who has long cherished the vintage 70s Sunn Model-T for my guitar sound, the sudden revival of this iconic brand in 2023 was major news. I had been following their progress with great interest, but the moment I tried the Beta Bass during our US tour last year, I knew instantly—this was the sound I needed.
The Beta Bass delivers an incredibly solid foundation. When driven, the low-mids begin to growl with a ferocious intensity. The transition between the clean and drive channels is truly dramatic, and the sheer dynamics of the amp are astounding.
I am thrilled to have this legendary masterpiece, now reborn with the latest technology, roaring behind me on stage.
Its powerful, resilient sound is now an essential part of my performance.

このアイコニックなブランドが2023年に突如復活したことは大きなニュースでした。
その動向を興味深く見守っていましたが、昨年のUSツアー時にBata Bassを試奏した瞬間「これは自分に必要なサウンドだと」確信しました。
Beta Bassはとてもソリッドなサウンドで、ドライブさせるとベースの中低域が獰猛に唸りを上げ始めます。クリーンチャンネルとドライブチャンネルの切り替わりはとても劇的で、そのダイナミクスにも驚くことでしょう。
かつての名機が最新のテクノロジーを搭載して蘇り、その強靭なサウンドが自身の背後から鳴り響く今を嬉しく思います。そのパワフルで力強いサウンドは、早くも私のパフォーマンスに欠かせないものとなっています。
