LitLIVE! is an event of Literary Feast, the signature fundraising event of the Broward Public Library Foundation, and one of Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s most highly anticipated literary events.
The 37th Annual Literary Feast took place on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, 2026. LitLIVE! was held in the auditorium of the Broward County Main Library from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

📚Unearth a Story and join @browardlibrary for the 21st Annual Children’s BookFest!
The Annual Children’s BookFest is the official kickoff for the Broward County Library 2026 Summer Learning Program: Unearth a Story. This free family festival at West Regional Library in Plantation offers attendees the chance to be among the first to register for the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge and pick up a free book while supplies last.

The day-long celebration features a wide variety of performances, including cultural dances, magic shows, musical sing-alongs, and theatrical fairytale adventures. This intensive, 10-hour program is designed to help 10th–to 12th–grade students master test-taking strategies and boost their scores for scholarships like the Bright Futures program.
