Was a dream to get to fly this peak and almost 2300m of terrain for this. There’s a ton of unlocked potential here.

This is one of my all time favourite jumps.

Not only is the flight incredible, with lots of line options, but it was opened by a good friend who’s no longer with us that he named in memory of another good friend. There are always a lot of good memories and stories shared when we come here.

Although it’s not super far from home (as the corvid flies), it takes a fair bit of coordination to make it happen.

As the access is on the opposite side of the mountain as the LZ, multiple vehicles are required, which makes it hard to do as a solo mission.

The conditions are most consistent in the early morning, so the day starts with a 4:00 AM alarm.

After a two and a half hour drive, it takes just over 2 hours to shuttle cars to the LZ and trailhead and hike up to the exit.

Since I first did this jump I’m at approximately a 50% success rate for the conditions to allow for a flight once reaching the exit.

I think it’s really telling how amazing this jump is that it never seems to be a hard sell to convince a couple awesome people to get out there early and give it a try.
