The Light On Program is a Disablilty-led program designed to help new comers to the acting space learn the key skills to on-screen acting & self marketing.

The pilot workshops will take place Australian Performing Arts Conservatory (APAC) starting early February. 

This 8 week program aims to help aspiring disabled actors learn the fundamentals of on screen acting, presentation & navigation of the film industry as an actor. If you are a NDIS participant, Cost maybe covered by NDIS (check with with your support coordinator or Plan Manager).

Meet Breanna Swan 💫

From student to leader — Breanna first joined one of my casting workshops as a Bus Stop Films ambassador. Confident, curious, and brimming with talent. But as a neurodivergent actor, the system wasn’t built for her.

That moment changed everything.

Today, Breanna isn’t just in the room — she’s helping run it.

She’s my Co-Program Director for Lights On, Queensland’s first disability-led, accessibility-first on-camera training program.

Together we’re building the pathway the industry has been missing — for actors, presenters, and performers who deserve to be seen, heard, and paid for their craft.
