The Frame within a frame composition technique is an easy way to immediately elevate your compositions.Also just trying to look for frames in your environment when you’re out shooting will instantly create more Interesting compositions.

How much of your potential are you killing with your vices?

I’ve definitely gotten sucked into the void of constantly filling every still moment with doom scrolling.

This is a reminder to myself that creativity is birthed from rest,not consumption.

I shoot 95 percent of my content solo, and this is one of the ways I still get cinematic camera movement.

The only way to bolster yourself against the wave of AI that’s coming and honestly already here, you need to become an A level storyteller.This is something that is a constant work in progress for me and honestly what makes exploring content so interesting.

It’s a great time to be alive if you like to learn new things.When I first started with making stuff online 15 years ago sometimes it took hours to answer a single question.

And since I had just started shooting I had a LOT of questions.

Using AI to learn new things is probably my favorite use case.I’ve learned exponentially more in the last year about software than the last decade.

March 31st was my 6 year anniversary of my cancer diagnosis.Looking back I remember completely rejecting the idea that anything major could be wrong with me, even when my gut was telling me something was off.

As an extremely anxious person especially around health related things, my mind constantly paints worse case scenarios (thank webmd iykyk). It can be hard to distinguish anxiety from intuition.

At this point I had sacrificed so much to be in the position I was in but I had no idea I could have actually been unknowingly sacrificing everything.

Luckily the timing of everything going on saved my life.God had his hand in that I’m sure of it.It’s taught me a lesson that I keep with me always.If you can’t prioritize your health and well being even over your dreams, at some point it might cost you.

Shout out to @georgejcottle for being in my corner every step of the way on that job and Spider-Man after that when I couldn’t stop going to the doctor because of checkups and honestly some crippling anxiety. ❤️
