Everyone’s still blaming Raygun. The timeline doesn’t lie. ☕
Her name keeps coming back up — and every time it does, the same misinformation spreads with it. So let’s set the record straight, because this is exactly the kind of Sports x Culture conversation I live for.
The decision to cut breaking from LA28 was made in 2022 — two full years before she EVER stepped on that Paris stage. Two. Years. The IOC and the LA28 committee made a call to prioritize other sports. That’s it. That’s the story.
And while that chapter closes, the WDSF is already working toward Brisbane 2032 — formal meetings, events on the ground in Australia, with an IOC decision expected by Q3 2026.
What frustrates me isn’t Raygun’s performance. It’s that 8.9 million people saw a post blaming her — and barely anyone corrected it. Meanwhile, the actual b-girls and b-boys who gave elite performances in Paris got buried in the noise.
Breaking is a pillar of hip-hop. Born in the Bronx. Built by Black and Latino culture. It deserves better than a viral scapegoat story.
Swipe through, get educated, and drop this on the next person still blaming her in the comments. 👇

What does “making it” mean?
The dream is a moment but what happens after? Before? In between? We build!
The artist no longer needs to starve to create art.
Just create.
Some are able to live off the dream and some are not but neither should stop creating or evolving.

Bgirls go Bald too! We just don’t talk about it. We often see the bboys w that spot missing at the top of their head but the ladies go thru it too..💇🏽♀️
Firstly this isn’t a pod ad - I truly love @nutrafol and it has been my saving grace especially as I got older and my hair didn’t grow back as fast.
Secondly some don’t even care about hair and just cut it short and call it a day- that’s dope too! This is just my perspective and a discussion I have had w several bgirls.
Thirdly - I’ve heard Bboys discuss how we wear our hair etc from bandanas to Durags… and it’s hilarious to me when men have conversations about our experiences and don’t actually just ask US. Especially when it comes to women of color. Our experiences w hair are vastly different.
So I hope these slides help and get the conversation going.. at the end of the day I’m just a story teller and a seeker of stories.📚

Yo Breakin’ HURTS!!
You’re either in the showing up or not here at all. There is no in between for women in the Breakin scene.
Breaking is already one of the hardest things you can do with your body. Now imagine doing it while healing from birth.
The culture doesn’t have a “mom on leave” lane. You’re either in the cipher or you’re fading — and that pressure sends b-girls back to the floor before their bodies are anywhere close to ready.
I’ve been in this scene for over 20 years. I’ve seen it. This one’s for the b-girls navigating that tension.

NY style thru & thru 🥰
Back when battles were life 💝
I used to save just to travel and make a name for myself, for my sweet 16 I opted out of a party and asked for a flight to scribble jam 🤣After many years I went international was the first NYC Bred Bgirl to win an international title at an international battle: UK champs and then IBE. Props to those before me who inspired me to get out there and enter til I won. I took way more losses then wins but No one can take away the dues I paid. 💵

☕ Lately, I’ve noticed (and the ladies have noticed)?more and more events and camps happening with little to no women on staff. B-girls have brought this up before, and it’s worth talking about openly. There’s a real feeling among long-time b-girls of expiring in the scene — where men grow into OGs valued for their knowledge and history, but women’s contributions fade the moment they step back from competing. And this comes right after a Women’s Month where our community spent 31 days celebrating them.
Events like Soulsessions, Cyphertown, Undisputed, and IBE show it’s absolutely possible to do better. The talent is there. The question is whether it’s a priority.
Swipe through. Come to it with curiosity, not defense. Let’s have this conversation. ☕

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
