I decided to cover I might say something stupid by @charli_xcx for many reasons- 1. I love it 2. It goes along with the themes of Sweetness and 3. I thought it’d rock as a shoegaze song. Hundreds of people from all walks of life came together for an unforgettable day of music, love, friendship, community, and NYC energy as we hosted @thelemontwigs alongside @finemessofficial @josephinenetwork and a DJ set by @sarahsavannah_paris in the heart of the Lower East Side 🧠
This is why Show Brain exists. Free all-ages music in public spaces. No barriers... just people connecting through live music.
Thank you to every single person who helped make this historic day possible…

The music video for Chris Cohen’s “Yesterday’s On My Mind” documents his daily routine while making the 2016 album ‘As If Apart.’
Recorded all in his L.A. garage after moving back across the country from Vermont, Chris said, “When I think of the record, I think of brutal LA summers... endlessly re-working the title track on piano in our dark, hot living room… Taking the gold line from Mission St to Cypress Park station every day to go to my studio, which you can see in the video for “Yesterday’s On My Mind” by Kate Dollenmayer”
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, we’re sharing a deluxe edition, with three additional recordings: “As If Apart” & “In a Fable” Live at Cafe Oto in London, and a demo version of “Drink from a Silver Cup.”
