Today was the last day I rode the girls to school on our little bike. Motherhood is funny. It’s full of firsts and lasts. Today was the last day of a beautiful era of memories, snuggled together, with the wind blowing in our faces, listening to music on our little speaker. I played ET and Hook and Defying Gravity. They requested Parry Gripp. lol.

It’s the last day of school, and they’re too big to fit on the back seat together. By the end of summer, they’ll be much too big. So, here’s my little tribute video to The Age of the Bike. Beautiful memories. Beautiful moments.

I’ll miss it, but I’m excited for the next adventure.

I learned from a makeup artist who used to work on Cats this AMAZING secret to removing heavy stage makeup.

You don’t want to do a lot of rubbing which irritates your skin. Instead you want to use the power of chemistry to gently remove the makeup from your face. Soap and water have the opposite polarity to grease and oil, and when you put them together the oil particles bind to the soap and water. 💦 🫧 And voila! Clean skin. But not all soaps are equal…

Step 1: Micellar Water Melt. Don’t rub too much. Just melt your makeup with Micellar water and cotton pads.

Step 2: (the secret) DAWN DISH SOAP!!! I put it in a spray bottle with water to take to the theater. It is amazing!!! It’s tough on grease, but gentle on your skin. Rub it in and wash your face. Ta Da!!!!!! 🦆 Add some moisturizer and you’re done!

I’ve been using this simple technique for like 2 decades. It’s the best. Try it and let me know what you think!

I was honored to co-moderate a panel with Ben Pronsky about AI and the Voiceover landscape. We explored AI and its implications in many different forms of Voiceover and also the global impact of AI. Our panelists were so knowledgeable and there were so many amazing takeaways from our conversation. We had over 300 voice actors in attendance both in person and on Zoom, and I feel hopeful that we can come together as a community to make sure that our creative profession remain strong and healthy.
