my approach to sliding scale explained:

the list price of an item on the website is what i consider to be the dollar amount that fairly compensates me for my time and work in making each piece. this corresponds to the larger number on a tag when i sell in person (if the tag says 40-60 then the 60 is what im referring to)

when offering sliding scale, the lower price is enough to cover material cost and to make my jewelry making endeavor a $-neutral endeavor. i genuinely enjoy spending my time making things and i get a lot of joy from seeing people wear things that i made, so i am absolutely not “put out” by somebody making use of the lower prices if they cannot justify the list price!

i am generally very busy, and the list price makes it more feasible for me to allocate more time and energy to making jewelry consistently.

ok rant over here are sliding scale discount codes to use on my website for those that need them!

So our studio space has a bunch of people with more money than they know what to do with. This leads to them throwing out PERFECTLY FINE HARDLY USED SHIT which I then swiftly pluck from the dumpsters.

Such was the case with these two cheapo Cold Steel bb axes. I scraped the nasty varnish off the handle of one, wire wheeled the entire head, chopped off the top, oiled the handle, and then made a nifty little sheath from a belt that I found at Out of The Closet while working at jimmy John’s like 5 years ago.

I am biased but I think mine looks and feels waaaay better 🪓

I filled the earring rack at @thewormholecoffee! 100% of the money I get goes to @creakyshoulders @tattoosbyclover surgery fund until it hits its goal! If you were going to donate anyways then you literally might as well get some earrings for your money too!

(+some face for the algo)

I made a better tool roll for my main leather things

The little flappy on the right is to make sure nothing falls out the side when it’s folded. The suede is facing out for a suede on suede friction kiss with the strap.

Not pictured is the mallet who will get tucked into the crack after the main flap is folded.

a belt! for maureen!

its super hard to get a sense of scale, so i included the baby necklace version of the same weave.

i used 12 ga wire so that it would be less likely to stretch if pulled. the 14 ga dinkier one just didnt seem appropriate for an article of clothing

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
