The City of London could have looked radically different to what we know today if Wren had his way. You probably know of the revolutionary Christopher Wren for his rebuilding of the City’s churches after the 1666 Great Fire of London, but he was quite a dreamer when it came to town planning too. He was as much a fan of @theroyalexchange as Veronica Horwell, and she’s here to tell you more.

The first flashes of summer are upon us, and whilst we can’t wait for the sun, our skin may have some feedback...
In this spring-summer transition period, it’s important to keep your skin hydrated, protected from UV rays, and free from excess sebum by cleansing and exfoliating. @aesop’s thoughtfully blended formulas do just that, combining natural and laboratory-developed ingredients to create vegan, cruelty-free and sustainable skincare that’ll keep you glowing all year long. Pop into their @onenewchange store to find the perfect remedy to any seasonal flare-ups.

Do you hear that? It’s the bleat of happy revellers over at the newly opened @theluckygoatldn.
Goat by name, GOAT by nature, they’re on a mission to upgrade your night out with a twist on the classics – think caviar-dressed crisps, a goat’s cheese-infused martini, and your favourite tunes playing while you battle it out on tech-infused bar games.
Trust us, this is London’s coolest new bar opening, and you need to see why 🐐

Back in February, as part of our Refresh programme, we sat down for a chat with Positive Psychology and Leadership Consultant @charlottewiseman_. One of the things Charlotte shared with us is how she finds moments of mindfulness amidst the buzz of the City.
"Walking around, I'll always remind myself to look up. Cheapside is steeped in history, and seeing those centuries of memories integrated with the new draws me into the present, so I love wandering around to observe and admire that combination. That practice of mindful observation is essential to keep me grounded and feeling my best."
So, next time you're strolling through our patch of the City, don't forget to look skywards. You never know what you may spot.

Have your glass runneth over with the finest of British wine at a @bowwinevaults tasting evening. These nights are raved about throughout the City for their expert guidance, innovative themes and premium bottles. Like @foodieswithhoodies said, the only way to top it is to head out to an actual vineyard.

Feeling inspired by London’s record-breaking marathon runners? Us too. Which is why we asked @jdphysioruncoach how to set ourselves up for success in the 2027 marathon season. Here’s what he advised:
1. Have a plan and be consistent. It’s fine to deviate when necessary, but run regularly to build the habit.
2. Take it easy. You don’t need to channel Bolt in every stride. Build up slowly and listen to your body’s limits.
3. Add in strength and conditioning training. It helps reduce your chances of injury and speeds up recovery times, making it easier to train consistently.
And for a bonus: join our Cheapside Run Club. In collaboration with @puresportsmed, we host a weekly 5K through the City. Joining a run club helps keep it fun and sociable (and no one wants the group chat calling you out for skipping a session 😉)
So, see you Wednesday?

We wonder what goodies he reeled in 🤔

There’s some glorious architecture that calls Cheapside home, but have you ever looked a little closer and noticed the finer details? Here are a few things to watch out for next time you’re in our part of town...
📍 Atlas House
This Grade II listed building has not one, but two depictions of the mythical Atlas bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders. One glows golden atop its iconic clock and another frames its King Street entrance.
📍 Bracken House
The colourful astronomical clock that decorates Bracken House has a face in its centre. And whose face is that? The one and only Mr Winston Churchill.
📍 The Ned
It’s easy to get distracted by the splendour inside The Ned, but make sure you check out the façade too. Where else can you spot a cherub throttling a goose in a nod to Egyptian mythology and the struggle of good over evil?
📍 Bank of England
You may not take much notice of doors, but these ones you should. They’re rich with symbolism – like the constellations of Ursa Major and the Southern Cross, which symbolise the world’s hemispheres and hint at the global reach of the Bank’s operations.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
