There are words we carry throughout our entire lives: the thank yous, the appreciation, the small, everyday gratitudes... This Mother’s Day, let something simple speak for you. A piece of chocolate, chosen with intention, can hold more than sweetness: a memory, a moment of care, and everything you’ve been meaning to say to the mother in your life.

Sometimes, love doesn’t need to be big or loud.

These little hearts are a simple way to say: I’m here with you. I appreciate you. This moment matters. 💕

Introducing our newest Mother's Day special: the Earl Grey + Lavender Bar. A floral twist on a beloved classic, this limited edition bar begins with our Vanilla Sea Salt dark chocolate finished with a delicate scattering of Earl Grey tea and locally sourced lavender. Inspired by baking traditions that pair these two unique flavours, our head chocolatier, Michelle, crafted a bar that is both comforting and unexpected. Notes of citrusy bergamot rise through the richness of cacao, while lavender adds a soft, aromatic finish—creating a layered tasting experience that lingers.

The lavender and Earl Grey were sourced from a local vendor at St. Lawrence Market, connecting this bar to the community around our boutique. Don't wait! These bars are available exclusively at our St. Lawrence Boutique for a limited time.

From Latin America to Canada, mothers bring heart and sol into our chocolate kitchens, focus into our office, and pedaler strength to our markets, events, and sales. Women are the mothers of our communities, the carriers of tradition, and so often the backbone of resistance and resilience.

ChocoSol could not exist without the many powerful women in our community and we want to take some time today to highlight the incredible ChocoFeministas that make our work possible.
We are proud to partner with mothers in Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and beyond, to bring sustainable cacao and coffee to our communities here in Canada.

Mothers have also contributed endlessly to the ChocoSol learning community and social enterprise here in Toronto. Our business and community is better for it and we can’t express our deep gratitude in a simple post. Thank you to all the Mothers, sisters, aunties, grandmothers, great grandmothers, elders, leaders, supporters, teachers, workers, past and present and into the future!

In stores and markets across Toronto, we often get asked – so what is this? If you’ve seen our iconic Oaxaca Profundo, you may have asked the same thing. This Earth Month, let’s dive into it!

Not *just* a bag of coffee, this bag of beans is the result of forest garden systems that support biodiversity, soil health, and community resilience.

Our shade-grown coffee is sourced directly from Indigenous communities in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is roasted fresh weekly by ChocoSol Traders. ChocoSol’s goal has always been to support the regeneration of the forest gardens of Oaxaca, to celebrate the Indigenous communal land producers of high-quality altitude coffee in Oaxaca.

Love doesn’t always need big declarations — it lives in the details, in the small gestures of gratitude, and in the combinations that just make sense. Sweet, deep, and comforting all at once — like cherries and chocolate.

Inspired by cherry blossom season and the quiet tradition of pausing to take it all in, our Mother’s Day Cherry Hearts are crafted for sharing — or for savouring slowly with someone you love.

Plant-based and made with care, these hearts are more than a treat — they’re an invitation to slow down, share a moment, and appreciate the people who matter most.

*Pre-order your Mother’s Day Cherry Hearts today! First deliveries will start May 1st!*

A form of agroforestry, a forest garden is a way of growing food that honours the rhythms and complexity of the natural world by cultivating a diverse forest ecosystem with food crops, spices, fruits, and more. In comparison to monoculture plantations or field crops, this approach protects biodiversity, enriches the soil naturally, and supports long-term ecological balance without relying on industrial agriculture.

This biodiversity creates resilience — for the land, for the community, and for future generations 🤎

We’ve been sharing moments from different markets lately — and today it’s time for our beloved St. Lawrence Market! 🤎

From sharing stories to sampling chocolate, every market reminds us why we do this. Our stand at St. Lawrence Market isn’t just about chocolate, it’s about connection.
This is one of the many incredible markets we’re proud to be part of, and each one brings its own rhythm, faces, and energy. Thank you to everyone who stops by, chats with us, and supports direct trade cacao.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, come say hi! We’ll be here — sharing chocolate and building connections, every Saturday morning.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
