My favourite spots are where the tall peaks of the coast range mountains pierce straight into the ocean and down to depths almost equally as great. There are few safe places to drop anchor in these inlets, but Russ @outershores seems to know them all like the back of his hand.

2024 was mostly about family and new life. So many great memories made. Hard to really post them all. Definitely not as much outdoor or landscape work as in the past, but hopeful to get some new work together for 2025. Our family is overjoyed (and slightly sleep-deprived) to announce the birth of Isaac Keenan Rose Perry. Born in the early hours of November 27th at Comox Valley Hospital, Isaac is already filling our hearts with love. His big brother Eadon, Mom and Dad are totally over the moon about you, little guy!

Isaac is named after Lake Isaac, a remarkably clear and deep, glacier-fed lake in Northern BC. This place has special meaning to Mom and Dad, as it was the location of their first big adventure together almost 6 years ago when they navigated (survived) the Bowron Lake Circuit.

Keenan and Rose are an ode to maternal sides of the family, as well as our Irish, British and Scottish heritage.

Eadon is the second grandchild of Fran & Fred Challenger, and great grandchild to Gerald Ferrier. He is the third grandchild of Naneen Keenan and David Perry, and great grandchild to Helen Keenan.

Isaac is named after Lake Isaac, a remarkably clear and deep, glacier-fed lake in Northern BC. This place has special meaning to Mom and Dad, as it was the location of their first big adventure together almost 6 years ago when they navigated (survived) the Bowron Lake Circuit.

Keenan and Rose are an ode to maternal sides of the family, as well as our Irish, British and Scottish heritage.

Eadon is the second grandchild of Fran & Fred Challenger, and great grandchild to Gerald Ferrier. He is the third grandchild of Naneen Keenan and David Perry, and great grandchild to Helen Keenan.

It goes without saying, but the true star of this moment is Isaac’s mom, Jacky. Her preparation and vision for the birth were poetic. She’s the love of Owen’s life and he couldn’t be more proud and awed of her than he is now.

Our family is overjoyed (and slightly sleep-deprived) to announce the birth of Isaac Keenan Rose Perry. Born in the early hours of November 27th at Comox Valley Hospital, Isaac is already filling our hearts with love. His big brother Eadon, Mom and Dad are totally over the moon about you, little guy!
