Memorial Day is set aside to remember those who have served and given their lives for our freedom. So when you hear the national anthem and see our American flag flying , stop. Pause.Put your hand over your heart. Listen to the words. Think about how our American soldiers have servedthis country and have foughtand have died so that we can have freedoms. Freedoms that we take for granted.Like freedom of speech. And freedom to choose religion. Like being able to believe a certain way. Or something like getting to fish for a living or justfor enjoyment.

Don’t ever forget those who gave everything they had .And the next time you see a soldier, tell them thank you.
