Posting to prove that I do work. I am working. And I wanna get better about sharing that work. It doesn’t always look like me carrying equipment that I’m terrified of breaking. (I know, it’s just sticks, but even that is expensive to me.)

In my current phase, I’m working as a Coordinator and PM.

In my summer phase, I worked on a feature film as a line producer that put me on a ranch for 5 weeks. I still need to wrap that project—the actual wrap and wrapping my head around the experience. It deserves a post.

In my next phase, I’m manifesting more writing. I’ll be taking a month long trip out of the country and I plan on burying myself in my own work.

So yeah, let’s get to work.

✨✨✨

I’m calling this part of my career a ‘creative phase’ because I’m not open or closed to any one thing. I get be free…a freelancer.

See, the thing about owning your own business…the work never really stops. There’s always something to do, something to fix, something to do better. I got the first taste of a project “being over” when Matt and I finally got married in 2021. It was a delicious, unexpected feeling of working on something (for the last three+ years we were engaged) and being completely done with the project after we said “I do”

There was no going back to the wedding to re-do it for next year or fix something so it’s more efficient the next time. Everything we worked on to bring friends and family together was for one moment in time.
I was reminded how much I love a start-to-finish project. I probably subconsciously manifested some weird combination of those kinds of projects because much of my 2022 was working as a freelancer in the wedding industry with my sweet friend, Malori of @formfloral

This past year, I worked on some truly incredible weddings, putting flowers on all sorts of things, without even knowing the names of them. I got up ladders, I got down ladder. I lifted countless disco balls into the air and zipped about a million zip ties.

Some weddings, I made Malori’s life easier by simply loading and unloading cargo vans, and other weddings, I made Malori’s life easier by her not being there at all. I experienced an immense amount of pride once the wedding was complete no matter how much or how little I contributed to it.

And not only weddings, I helped Malori execute weekend long corporate events, logistics in her studio, and being her right-hand-woman in dressing the Arizona BIltmore up for Christmas.

2022 in Swipes: Form Floral freelance jobs.

In some odd roundabout way, everything I did in 2022 complemented one another. I found myself pulling from a library of tools to get the job done. And it felt so incredibly sweet.

Here’s to 2023. ✨

When someone asks me what I did in college, my response is “I switched my majors.” That’s what I did, I had a new major every semester that came with a new life goal. I was desperately seeking career satisfaction, trying to find “the perfect industry.”

After I landed in *air quote* filmmaking practices at ASU for my final 1.5 years of college, something clicked. My tune changed. Job satisfaction sunk in. I wanted to be a producer. I declared it to the world.

And that I did…I was a producer after college…but not of movies or TV. I produced the fuck out of Iconic Cocktail Co. My husband and I started our business in 2015 and it was my feature film. Fast-forward to 2022, Matt and I had this beautiful business with even more beautiful people running it.

I could attempt to describe what Iconic taught me but that should be its own post. I could try to put words to what it feels like to step away from a business I created but I don’t even know where to start. I do know one thing that happened in 2022….I can proudly report that I retired from Iconic Cocktail Co. Now, Matt runs the business like the true boss he is while I seek out new opportunities.

At the moment, my new opportunity is working in the production office with some really great people (who are even willing to fix my pants when they ripped on set.) I managed to squeeze my way into the industry after an unexpected hiatus of being a business owner. I’m learning a ton, finding a whole bunch of joy, and staying open to what’s to come.

2022 in swipes: productions that I worked on as a PA, coordinator, and production manager.

Wrapping up the year and very much looking forward to the next one. I figured out some life changing stuff. And it was as simple as “not trying to figure it all out.” And I’m gonna share it in swipes!

2022 in Swipes: photoshoots that I produced.

I thought I wanted to do more marketing strategy for clients but quickly learned my genius zone is getting my hands on one particular idea and running with it. I worked with some of my favorite people to help them organize a successful photoshoot so they’d have content for social media, emails, and their website.

I got to work with some amazing photographers like @laurenpeachie @eunicebeck and @heatherkinklephotography

And even more amazing brands @iconiccocktailco @tequilaanamaria @formfloral @standardwax @empowercoffeeroasters and @witchy.collective

I’m manifesting more photoshoots for 2023. So…if you find yourself reaching for fresh photos and coming up empty, let’s chat. I’m very good at organizing a photoshoot so you get bangin’ photos that tell your unique story.

I get to work with some really amazing and talented people. This is a preview from @witchy.collective and @laurenpeachie Manifest Peachie Portrait Day (they’ll be hosting one together in January! Go get one!)

My word was Silence. I’m learning how to take guilt-free time off between really big projects. And I have nothing wise to report, other than it’s just been really healing. Frances was able to give me a reading that felt spot on and Lauren captured it perfectly. How cool is that?

Very much looking forward to everything life has in store for the coming year. ✨

I’ve been super busy putting together summer strategies for my clients the past few weeks (and getting ready for a vacation in Hawaii) so, all I have to share is this sweet photo of working with my two favorites, @standardwax.studio and @laurenpeachie. More brand goodness coming soon, even some of my very own. ✨

Prepping for a shoot with @standardwax.studio. I expanded on @laurenpeachie’s concept of neutral colored backdrops with these oblong stackable surfaces. They create height and texture while allowing the product to still be the star. 💫 (shout out to @sbarr449 for turning these around for me, in pure perfection!)

And just like that, it's a new quarter. Let's wrap up Q1.

This past quarter, I found a groove with producing photoshoots (and got a little more comfortable calling myself a producer✨) I coordinated two shoots for Form Floral with the sweet Eunice Beck. Valentine's Day got done in record time and that project taught us so much for the Mother's Day shoot we just finished.

I put together a full quarter of blog content for Standard Wax and paired it with a very fun spring shoot with the one and only Lauren Peachie. It felt amazing to hand off three months worth of content at once. (Let's do that again, shall we?)

Iconic's first quarter was more about maintenance but Lauren and I still made it look good. It was the first time I produced a whole photoshoot to basically get one much needed shot for the website.

All the while, I worked on developing the brand for my own Creative Phase and even worked as a production coordinator on an actual tv commercial.

Can't wait to see what Q2 brings. So, if you need a freelance creative producer, production coordinator, or just someone who loves a project, I'm your gal. 🌙

There’s a lot of time-traveling in strategy planning. I’m in the calendar, planning ahead, looking three-six months into the future. While it’s still chilly out, I’m mentally planning summer breaks and pool parties because it’s late July for me.

So here’s a gentle reminder that planning is good, but staying present is better. The tricky part is realizing that planning helps me stay in the present. It’s the delicate act of balance, temperance, and patience. 💫

Will you get a little spiritual woo while working on your marketing strategy with me? You sure will. ✨

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
