🎟️ Introducing: Membership at CUE!
CUE’s new membership program is an opportunity to connect with an emerging and experimental arts community—and to receive meaningful benefits while sustaining our artist-centered mission.
Membership offers access to special gatherings, artwork and editions, studio visits, and more—including a level specifically for artists with portfolio reviews and written feedback.
The ecosystem that supports the arts requires immense and dedicated labor. Membership directly supports the people who make this work possible—artists, mentors, curators, educators, art handlers, designers, and more—and helps CUE remain a vital alternative to traditional institutional models.

mādar brings together artists spanning generations and disciplines, from Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan, Iran to Brooklyn, New York, in a collective gesture of solidarity. While the bombing has temporarily paused, the situation remains precarious. Critical infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, and millions — already burdened by years of economic crisis, inflation, and U.S. sanctions — face the threat of displacement, food insecurity, and long-term instability.
Curated by Melika Abikenari and Golnar Adili, mādar is a benefit exhibition and auction opening Friday, May 15 at 6 PM at CUE Art Foundation.
Contributed works will be available through a benefit auction supporting relief efforts through Moms Against Poverty and additional on-the-ground initiatives supporting people in Iran. The online auction launches with the opening reception and remains live through 11:59 PM EST on May 15.
Opening night includes sounds by @narrokh beginning at 9 PM, aragh cocktails by @sag.nyc , beer provided by @backhomebeer , and bites by @bazm.nyc .
mādar will remain on view through the weekend at CUE Art Foundation, 137 West 25th Street. Weekend gallery hours on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 are from 12–6 PM; no reservations are required.

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd, for d̶i̶r̶t̶ 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩, a new dinner work by Tsohil Bhatia (@tsohilbhatia) co-presented with Peel (@peel.space) in Pittsburgh, PA. The meal will be followed by a set from multi-disciplinary DJ, artist, and designer Formosa (@formosa.exe).
Guests gather for a shared eight-course meal in which the table becomes a site for speculation on the practices that have shaped what we consider to be either palatable or objectionable.
Drawing upon ingredients and methods that have existed for centuries—ash, clay, salt, grain, fruit, char, fermentation—the menu acts as a set of relations to land across geographies and over time. Recipes carry evidence of the propositions of the land. They draw from histories of accident, spoilage, and contamination, often incorporating ingredients that we have learned to distrust.
Through vocabularies of refusal and relation, the work reconsiders our prevailing conceptions of value and sustenance.
Capacity is limited! Learn more and reserve a seat ($50) at links in bio. 🔗

d̶i̶r̶t̶ 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 is made possible through essential support from the Carnegie Mellon School of Art, Brian Wongchaowart, Chris and Dawn Fleischner, and JADED (@jadedpgh).
Drinks graciously provided by @goodlandercocktails and @twofraysbrewery.

What’s Left in the Remaking
On view until April 18, 2026
Gallery Hours: Wed–Sat, 12–6 pm

“What’s Left in the Remaking” has been extended and will remain on view through April 18th.
The exhibition brings together works by 31 alumni artists and mentors of CUE whose practices take risks and challenge existing boundaries of practice. The show is simultaneously a benefit for our artist-centered program. Works are available to collect; each participating artist has determined the percentage to be donated to CUE in a collective gesture of generosity and advocacy for the organization’s future.
For more than two decades, CUE’s program has connected artists across generations through mentorship, significant financial resources, presenting opportunities, professional development, and long-term dialogue. The exhibition draws upon this history to reflect the value of a program that is entirely oriented around the agency of emerging and underrepresented artists.
At a moment when artists and the small spaces that sustain them are under pressure, we invite you to visit and support in any way you can. Thank you to everyone who has joined us so far.

Remembering Ted Berger (1940-2026)
Two weeks ago, we lost an important voice for arts and culture in New York. Ted Berger served on CUE’s board for over 20 years, and for the last 8 as Board President. Ted was an energetic advocate for the arts, and for the hard work of continually forging a cultural ecosystem that prioritizes the livelihoods of working artists and the accessibility of the field above all else.
Among his many other engagements, it was an honor for CUE to have his attention, presence, and steadiness, which has greatly contributed to our mission and programs across many eras of the organization’s journey. Ted’s clarity, humor, patience, and dedication were part of the fabric of CUE for many years, and his absence will be felt by us all.
We are deeply saddened by this loss, and are holding space for Ted’s family, friends, and loved ones. If his presence touched you in any way, we welcome you to share thoughts or reflections here or via DM to send to Ted’s family.
May his memory be a blessing. 🤍

CUE’s gallery space is closed on Friday, January 30th for the nationwide shutdown and general strike. The gallery will reopen on Saturday, January 31st.
We stand in solidarity with the fight against ICE in our communities. We believe in the power of collective action and also acknowledge that any one day strike, public statement, or short term action is an imperfect and incomplete tool. See our stories for broader resources and perspectives.
A recap of CUE’s 2025 exhibitions + programs 🥂
CUE has always been shaped by the agency of artists. Over the past few years, that commitment has deepened through closer attention to the structural and conceptual foundations of each artist’s practice, and to the forms of thinking and making that drive their work and livelihoods.
This moment is marked by contraction and consolidation across the arts field. CUE remains committed to meeting emerging artists with flexible, generative processes, close collaboration, and shared responsibility for how their practices enter public view. Our scale is small, allowing the support we offer to remain intimate, accountable, and materially significant.
In these final moments of 2025, we invite you to stand behind these values.

Thank you to all the artists, mentors, designers, writers, art handlers, educators, photographers, chefs, and many other collaborators we have had the privilege of working with this year 🤍

There are just a few more hours to catch “What’s Left in the Remaking” — but good news: the show has been extended until February 28th!
Thanks to all the artists and friends of CUE who joined us last week at a sweet little public gathering to close out the year.
In 2025, it’s become even more apparent what the stakes are for small organizations who support emerging artists. CUE remains committed to organizing our work around their agency and their needs.
✨Please consider supporting us today! ✨
Here are three immediate ways to contribute:
[Make a year-end gift]:
Independent spaces like ours rely on engaged communities to make possible values-aligned and artist-driven programming. All amounts are welcome! 🪙
[Collect a work from “What’s Left in the Remaking”]:
Support both CUE and the 31 alumni artists in the show! This is not an auction, and artists have individually allocated the percentage of their sale that they will contribute and retain. 🖼️
[Check out our shop]:
You can find prints, tote bags, and editions from our artist community, including “Flashback,” a recently released ceramic sculpture edition by @jairo_sosa_.🏀
Every contribution is an active investment in the kind of cultural future that artists are already building.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
