May 30: Join Raiden Levesque from the Métis Nation and the Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters drummers for a Sunrise Ceremony as part of the opening celebration for the Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area. It honours Mishoomis Giizis (Grandfather Sun) as we gather in community to express gratitude to creation and one another.
📌 Where: Indigenous Teaching Amphitheatre, Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area
⏰ When: 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
🗺️ Directions: Enter the conservation area through Marie Curtis Park via the Waterfront Trail. It is approximately a 20 minute walk or one kilometre from the west boat launch parking lot at Marie Curtis Park to the amphitheatre.
If you loved the salamander migration video (posted April 9) here’s another amazing spring spectacle happening beneath the surface of the Credit River Watershed 👀🌊
This past week at Ken Whillans Conservation Area, we spotted a group of spawning American brook lamprey working together to build nests along the riverbed using their mouths and bodies.
Unlike their parasitic relatives, these ancient fish are harmless filter feeders that spend more than four years hidden beneath the streambed before transforming into adults for one final mission: reproduce. Nature is incredible!

Happy Mother's Day 💚
To the moms, grandmothers and caregivers who taught us to look up at the birds, stop for frogs, smell the flowers and appreciate the great outdoors... Thank you!

From industrial shoreline to thriving waterfront greenspace. 🌿
We were proud to speak with @cbctoronto News this week about the incredible transformation of the 26-hectare Jim Tovey Lakeview Conservation Area, opening May 30 along the Lake Ontario shoreline.
This project is the result of years of collaboration and partnership to restore wetlands, meadows, forests, accessible trails and wildlife habitat while reconnecting people and nature in the heart of Mississauga.

The unique wildlife sightings just keep coming in (not that we’re complaining!) This edition brought to you by two adorable baby red fox. 🦊
Spring means new life in the Credit River Watershed. Red fox kits are born blind and depend on their parents while they grow. Dens are often tucked into quiet, natural areas. If you come across one, please keep your distance and never approach because your respect helps protect their future. #LoveNature #RespectNature
How fast could wildlife in the Credit River Watershed finish the #Mississauga marathon? 🤔 🏃♀️
From coyotes to monarch butterflies, every species is built for its own kind of movement. Some sprint, some glide and some take their time but all play an important role in a healthy watershed.
This #EarthDay, it’s a reminder that we share these spaces with wildlife every day. Good luck to everyone running this weekend with the @mississaugamarathon 👏 @citymississauga @saugaparksrec

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
