I started jiujitsu back in January 2022, i was living in Santander, Spain and my main sport was surfing but sometimes weather conditions didn't work, so i needed to find something i could practice everyday no matter the weather, time, season...
one day i was scrolling and saw this video of Leandro Lo and Marcus Buchecha sparring, and i remenber thinking, "who are these guys, and what is that sport?) after a little research found that Leandro was training at UNITY and after 4 years of dedicating my life to this sport, I had the chance to train at the same place my biggest inspiration in the sport used to train, but not only that, i was lucky enough to get to meet this amazing family from the inside, the way they think, the way they approach challenges, I learned so much from them, and now i am lucky enough to feel i am also part of this incredible family...
Now i will spent a couple of month back in Madrid but my goal is clear, I will return to NYC very soon to live and train with all these war dogs!
