In case you missed it, here is the trailer for my most recent film קערל פון ספק(Yiddish: Seed of Doubt).

Wrote the first draft of this six years ago so premiering it at the BFI last week was a surreal moment!

The team behind this was absolutely phenomenal and the only reason this was possible 🙌👏

Seed of Doubt will be playing at the Portland Horror Film Festival 2025😁👻

The film is screening Saturday June 14th at the Clinton Streer Theatre. The film will also be streamable on the PHFF25 website from June 11th. Huge huge thank you to @portlandhorror and hope people enjoy the show!

Join us on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, for a special virtual screening of Seed of Doubt (2024), the haunting new Yiddish-language horror film from director Daniel Daniel. Blurring the lines between folklore and modern anxieties, Seed of Doubt digs deep into the shadows of Jewish ritual life, where ancient superstitions and contemporary fears intertwine.

Following the screening, stay with us for an exclusive conversation with Daniel Daniel about the making of the film, the resurgence of Yiddish in unexpected genres, and what it means to craft horror from tradition.

Seed of Doubt is going to Romford Horror Film Festival! 👻👻👻

The film will play twice - Thursday Feb 27th and Saturday March 1st. This is the film’s first genre-focused festival where will be playing in front of a horror-loving crowd!

So many great, exciting films playing at this festival. Can’t wait to be a part of it 🥳 @romfordhorror

‘Missionary’ is about a Catholic priest who, over the course of one evening, reconnects with Flora - the woman he left behind 50 years ago.

This was one of the first films I made at NFTS and a project that is very close to my heart. Unlike ‘Bleach’ and ‘Seed of Doubt’, this is a very small, intimate whisper of a film. We shot the film on 16mm, on location in an empty presbytery in Beaconsfield and a church in Marlow.

It was huge fun to collab with @amtattersall on the screenplay to bring this idea to life, so it’s very exciting to finally have this film begin it’s festival run with a Best Screenplay nomination from Watersprite Film Festival 2025! Huge thanks to @waterspritefilm and can’t wait to attend in March 🥳✝️⛪️
