Met Gala Monday 🎨✨
This year’s theme: Costume Art /Fashion is Art.

So I had to ask myself…
what would happen if I had a client going to the Met Gala?

This is my take.

I wanted to bring painting to life—
not just inspired by art, but becoming the art itself.

From:
🎨 paint splatters
🖌️ brush strokes
🖼️ living paintings
🗿 sculptural silhouettes

Every look is designed to feel like it stepped off a canvas and onto the carpet.

I pushed:
— structure to feel like wearable sculptures
— color to feel bold, rich, and intentional
— hair, nails, and makeup to complete the full story

Because for me…
styling isn’t just clothes it’s world-building.

This was a full creative direction moment.
Using AI let me bring these visions to life without limits
so this is really a look inside my mind as a stylist.

Hey y’all… this might be a little bit of a longer video, but I just wanted to share something really special to me.

These are some of my prized possessions.

My grandmother is the matriarch of our family, and one of the ways she’s always shown love… is through making quilts.

She’s the one who taught me how to do DIYs, how to craft, how to create things with my hands… so this really means a lot to me.

To have something that she hand-sewed, that she put her time, her energy, her love into especially at her age, 80-something it’s honestly an honor and a privilege.

Like… this isn’t just a quilt. This is her love. This is her legacy.

And now I have something that I can pass down… something I can show the next generation and say, “This is what love looks like. This is what she gave to the world.”

And I just think that’s really special ❤️

“The Oscars are in full swing tomorrow, and I couldn’t help but imagine the looks I would style for the red carpet. ✨

From couture gowns to dramatic silhouettes, these are some of the designers I pulled inspiration from to create my dream Oscar moments.

For the GLAAD Awards, I wanted to center these looks around LGBTQ+ designers and build the styling from there. 🌈

Look 1 is the all-black moment. A sexy blackdress that doesn’t need much because sometimes less is more. I added bold bangles to give it a sculptural pop while still letting the dress be the focus.

Look 2 is the colorful couture look inspired by rainbow energy. The geometric jewelry complements the bold design of the dress, and the hair mirrors the circular shapes of the polka dots in both the dress and shoes.

Look 3 is the monochromatic menswear look. Clean neutral tones styled with silver accessories for that extra wow factor. The sequin pants would catch the light on the red carpet and turn the whole look into one shiny statement moment.
