From its beginnings in 1940 inside Thomas Jefferson Memorial Junior High School, to the 1965 building that held it down for decades, to the stunning modern space we have today, this library has always been for the community. Now it is time to celebrate five years of this new era!

The Northwest One Library closed today, Monday, May 4, due to high temperatures in the building. The library will also be closed on Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6 while the D.C. Department of General Services (DGS) completes air conditioner repairs.
