Thiruvananthapuram has been surprising me since childhood...! From my very first visit -the majestic Palaces, the divine aura of its temples, the Zoo, museum, planetarium - each place felt like an eye-opening wonder to the little girl I was.. 🙂
As I grew up into a spiritual, temple-loving person, Attukal Pongaala remained the one phenomenon that astonished me by its sheer magnitude, devotion, discipline, and the unimaginable unity of thousands of women gathering with one prayerful heart...🩵
And another beautiful surprise that Trivandrum gifts us during Pongaala - we meet new people, step into their homes, and they welcome us like close family... That warmth, that generosity, is something truly special.. 🫂

For nearly two decades, I wished and prayed to offer Pongaala, but it never happened..
Then finally, in 2024, it happened.. 🥹
In 2025, it happened again... 🙏
And today - for the third time - it happened.. 🩵

From the scorching heat of the Kumbham month Sun, begins the Pongaala .. 🤍
The fire that burns in the hearth has its own fierce heat... 🔥
What melts and flows within it is everything ;
