What is happening across our country, particularly in Minneapolis, is heartbreaking and unacceptable. ICE tears families apart and instills fear in our communities. It does nothing to make our streets safer; it exists to divide us and distract us from the real systemic threats. ICE’s actions are shameful, immoral, and go against everything America should stand for.
It is a cruel deception: those consumed by greed convince those blinded by hatred to blame those guided by dreams.
Together, we will make it stop.

Hispanic Heritage Month reminds us that inclusion and shared history build unity, not division. People of Hispanic descent are our neighbors, our friends, and our co-workers; we are all members of the same community and we all deserve the same respect.
