The Departure advisory board keeps growing!
Sandra Duff is the kind of leader who makes everyone around her sharper. In our very first conversation, she cut past the surface and challenged us to think deeper about our message and our team. We knew right away she was the right fit.
She joins Departure’s advisory board alongside J.B. Raftus, the former CMO of GSD&M. Her focus will be helping Departure structure its infrastructure to meet the strategic needs of major brands planning production over multi-year periods.

In October, 2025 we announced the addition of J.B. Raftus to the company leadership as a strategic advisor.
J.B. brings nearly four decades of agency leadership experience to his advisory role.
Over 28 years at GSD&M, he held multiple senior positions before serving as CMO from 2000 to 2018.
He also led the Connected Communications practice as VP/general manager for Toronto-based management consultancy Jackman, and served as EVP/director of client services at McKinney in Durham, North Carolina.
His deep experience with holding-company agencies gives him a distinctive understanding of the client–agency relationship from every perspective.
