This little light sculpture, shown at the @kelley_perumbeti and @kate.hands.co-curated @worksinprogress_sf II show last September, captured my attention the first moment I saw it. It was a dream to write my first @nytimes story about its maker, Jessy Slim (@_slimfactory), a talent whose work is both thoughtful and beautiful. Thankful for all these powerful women in design who are building up the profile of the prolific scene in the San Francisco Bay Area. Link in my bio to read the story. 🌁✨
