"I'm home and have had a couple of days to explore my new pallete. It's clean, crisp, and warm. It zings and pops and is QUITE different than anything I've had before. It's full of surprises and also confirmations and clarity. The first thing I did was take all the colors off the ring so I could play with them, rearranging and combining in different ways. The zippered bag makes that a do-able option. It will take me a while to fully grasp how to translate into a workable wardrobe-- which I fully expected.

My dress for the wedding-- which I loved and will wear again-- is a match for my darkest Balance swatch, and I suspect it's a good neutral for me. I'll continue to wear black, and can see why navy and grey are so hard to wear but black is not.

The process of using your eyeshadow drapes in a very concrete way that eliminated bias but allowed me to see with my own eyes was crucial for me to accept and then embrace this new palette. I trust it because I saw it work.
