I’ve been a doctor for 20 years. Working in sexual health for 16 years. Naive little me back in 2010 would never have envisaged a time I would be making videos to tell dudes that injecting fluid into their scrotum to make their balls look bigger does not rate highly as a good idea.
But hey 2026 and social media is proving to be a blast 😩😱
In any event if we could not expose adolescent males to the ridiculous notion that their value as a man is contingent on the volume of their ball sack that would be GREAT

The Prime Minister should step up and deliver on the promise to protect under-16s from harmful social media platforms. Any further delay risks causing even more harm to children.

I think I did around 14 interviews today… and I’m still not home yet. Exhausted, emotionally drained, but also more emboldened than ever.

Today proved just how many bereaved parents are standing together (only a few of us today, the group is unfortunately much larger) demanding change. We held our own, supported each other, and made sure our voices were heard loud and clear with the Prime Minister.

Now we need Keir Starmer and the Government to put children before Big Tech and finally deliver the protections young people desperately need. Children’s lives must always come before corporate profits. ❤️

The Prime Minister must act now by raising the minimum age for harmful social media to 16 and protecting our children online.

Parents should not have to wait for another tragedy before stronger safeguards are put in place. Children cannot afford any more delay.

Today, bereaved parents will meet the Prime Minister at Downing Street to demand action to protect children online.

The Government must listen, act and raise the age for harmful social media to 16.

It was never necessary
The government had already capitulated (finally!) in Parliament…
But the consultation ends on Tuesday. One final push to tell them we won’t accept anything less to protect children from online harm!

They have to go ahead with this consultation because they already set a path.
