It took a long time to get here but now 7 months in! So full of excitement for what’s to come with Tils and our baby. A baby that already tells me when it’s lunch and when to sleep by rolling over and over. Merry Christmas and here’s to 2026!

Something incredible came in the post today…the Korean translation of @viragopress FURIES, the 50th anniversary anthology I was really lucky to be a part of 🖤

It’s always been a wonder to see my work translated across so many languages, and my short story SHE-DEVIL is the first to make its way to Korea! I’m in awe! 👻

Initially the idea was for me to help the monster come out of her shell, but I feel happy that it turned into El quite clearly helping me come out of mine. Real life in a music video, who knew. I first visited Toronto as a graduate in 2016 and couldn’t get over the city; full of art and so much care for illustration and storytellers. @thebeguiling is a cornerstone for comics and I’d never have made it to 2018 TCAF without them, so it was extra special to return 6 years later and find my book still on their shelves (along with an original @ourcomicsaregood edition)! Thank you!

Hey! It’s been a while since I showed my face around here, or shared any work I’ve been doing. But I wanted to introduce myself to my new followers - and maybe remind everyone else that I’m still here 😅
.
My name’s Eleanor and I’m a London based author, graphic novelist and illustrator. I’m currently working on my third graphic novel, which will be released by @viragopress in 2024. I’m so excited for this new book, it’s a bit of a change up for me as it’s totally fictional and also (hopefully) scary! 👻
.
I’ve also just started a new teaching role on my old illustration course at LCC/UAL. It’s really cool to be surrounded by great students and to see the transitional side of visual culture.
