"Final Girl" is my EP that came out Feb 29, 2024. I started this collage project in February 2025 to visually map out and share my moodboard and what was going through my head while writing the words and creative directing the project, but then last year was so bizarre and misguided for me creatively that I stopped about 2/3 into finishing. Making art doesn't often go in a straight line and it's incredibly easy to lose faith in yourself, think no one will care, and forget why you even do these things. I recently snapped out of it and remembered I do these things because it's my purpose, it doesn't matter what I gain or how many people see. It's a new year and the creative fog has lifted inexplicably and the call to finish these came back, so here they are. My feelings, my heart, a year of my life reduced to 5 poems. Collaged by me. I'll be releasing one last goodbye to this project sometime soon, and then onto new things. 🪽
