The day is finally here.

“Spinning” a song I wrote 3 years ago about a domestic violent relationship I was in.

I was 19 when I met him, and unfortunately, we connected through something I loved and trusted deeply… music. I trusted his guidance and advice, not realising that behind that trust, I was being groomed and abused little by little. For years, I blamed myself for everything that happened.

Until I realised that the blame was no longer mine to carry.

I refused to let that experience define me. I believe we are so much more than our life experiences, and every event is either a blessing or a lesson. I’m choosing to speak on it, tell my story, heal, and spread awareness, especially for women, men, and young artists who might not realise when something isn’t right.

If this helps even one person feel seen or think twice, then I’ve done my job. 🫶🏼
