YOUNG SHERLOCK is the episodic origin story developed by Peter Harness and Guy Ritchie, who also directed two episodes. Earlier, Mr. Ritchie directed SHERLOCK HOLMES (2009) and SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS (2011), both starring Robert Downey, Jr. The game is afoot in this new series distributed by Amazon Prime Video. A larcenous 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes is whisked off to Oxford in an effort to keep him out of trouble. Trouble comes quickly when he befriends young James Moriarty. Eurocine opens on May 8 and 9 at HungExpo Budapest.

With Budapest among of the busiest places in Europe, this is a two-day event with hands-on equipment exhibits, screenings, discussions and instruction.

Support comes from the National Film Institute Hungary, Hungarian Society of Cinematographers, the Hungarian Cinematographers Association, Budapest Film Academy, IMAGO, IMAGO Technical Committee, Women in Cinematography and international industry partners.

The program includes sessions about locations, sustainability, education, the work of Vilmos Zsigmond ASC, and more than 40 lectures, panels and workshops.

This is the tiny, Inkie-like, battery-powered COB LED fixture first shown as a not-so-secret prototype at BSC Expo. It just launched and will be at NAB.

The new NANLUX Evoke 5C is their smallest professional spotlight.

It measures a mere 5.6×4.4×4.5 cm / 2.2×1.73×1.77" and weighs only 160 g/5.64 oz. You can use Evoke 5C handheld, mounted, rigged or discreetly hidden in plain sight.

It draws 5W and at 1m delivers 496 Lux (46 Footcandles) bare bulb or 2828 Lux with a Spot Beam Lens. Use the 5C hidden behind a candle for a low light restaurant scene, to highlight a product logo, add an accent light, project a gobo pattern or backlight someone in a car.

As I sailor, I've admired the great video and audio coverage of SailGP high speed "F1 on the water" races. The reason has been the same Thomas Riedel, co-owner of the SailGP Germany Team with F1 champion Sebastian Vettel.

Both ARRI and the Reidel Group are family-owned. ARRI was founded in 1917 by classmates August Arnold and Robert Richter on Tuerkenstrasse in Munich .

Thomas Riedel founded Riedel Communications in 1987 in Wuppertal, Germany. The story goes that he started with five walkie-talkies. Today, with more than 1000 employees, Riedel operates from 30 locations worldwide. They are a major manufacturer, distributor and rental company of video, audio and data equipment for live entertainment, sports, broadcast, events, etc. In addition to SailGP, that includes the Olympics, Red Bull, Eurovision, etc. @arri
